Ein hundefreundliches Hotel mit sehr schönen Zimmern, direkt an einem Park mit Hunde-Auslaufzone. Das Restaurant und die Bar sind wunderschön eingerichtet und besonders das Restaurant- und Bar-Personal war sehr herzlich und freundlich. Nicht so nordisch-steif, wie man es von manchen hochpreisigen Hotels kennt. Wir fanden das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sehr angemessen. Das Frühstück ist ausgewählt üppig, mit vielen kleinen, ungewöhnlichen Leckereien (kaltgebeizter Lachs, Himbeer-Buttermilch...) und jeden Morgen anders. Die Terrasse mit Blick in den Park und auf einen kleinen Teil der Förder ist einfach ein Traum. Die Weinauswahl ist sehr gut und die Preise für Wein und Menü angemessen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

I spent hours researching hotel options in Kiel (never been, was invited to a birthday party), and wound up in this hotel. No question that the hotel offers the best location for Kiel activities at the best price. They have regular sized rooms and larger rooms facing the waterfront, expect to have each room come with everything you expect in a 4 star hotel. In-house parking available, just about everything worth doing in Kiel can be reached by foot, the ferry boats leave from a pier virtually across the street. If you have the time, definitely take the ferry to Laboe, other side of the harbor bay, where you will find a wide variety of beach front restaurants and shops and the U995 WWII submarine exhibit - above ground, with the price of admission (around $10) you can walk it stern to bow. Anyway, back to the hotel - this is the best option for the money, do not hesitate to book.

We liked the hotel very much. For travellers who want to use the ferry to Oslo with car, the location is particularly convenient. The hotel has a big garage and is located right in the center of town. Check-in at the hotel was very professional and friendly. The room was exactly like the photos on the website and offered a beautiful view onto the Kieler Förde. The breakfast was very rich. We did not take advantage of the dinner because the rooftop bar and restaurant was closed due to a private event. The only negative point was that we had to log on to the wifi again and again when the computer was switched off. We will gladly come back again.

Abbiamo prenotato l'hotel per il pernottamento prima della nostra crociera. Da la stazione ferroviaria è buono per raggiungere a piedi in pochi minuti. La ricezione al check-in era amichevole, ma ci sono già detrazioni: a partire dalle 21:30 non è più possibile effettuare il check-in, anche se la camera doveva essere pagata in anticipo. Poiché il treno è arrivato a Kiel solo con due ore di ritardo, abbiamo appena raggiunto il risultato, e in questi casi occorrerebbe trovare una soluzione. Purtroppo, in questo momento non c'è più la possibilità di bere, nemmeno da un'auto, il personale ha mandato mio marito a un kiosk ancora aperto un paio di metri di distanza. Il bagaglio è stato trascinato su le scale perché non c'era ascensore. La stanza era molto grande, pulita e dotata di un grande asciugamano ( 2 divano, una tavola). Il piccolo bagno era anche pulito. La colazione era buona, ma avrebbe dovuto essere un po' più tranquilla. Wi-Fi ha funzionato senza problemi Conclusione: Per una notte è una buona alternativa agli hotel molto più costosi direttamente alla stazione ferroviaria.

Molto bella, spaziosa camera con vista sulle navi da crociera, ferri e la vita colorata intorno alla strada, posizione centrale e conveniente per il traffico direttamente alla stazione ferroviaria principale, personale molto amichevole e impegnato, che si sentono sinceramente benvenuti.

Das Frühstück war gut und das Personal aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Zimmer war leider schrecklich. Wir waren im Nebengebäude. Der Standard war - was wir vorher wussten - nur 3 Sterne, was an sich völlig ok ist. Aber das Zimmer (Nr. 340) war weder richtig sauber (wurde dann nachgereinigt), noch war es in einem angemessenen Instandhaltungszustand. Im Bad Sprünge in den Fliesen, korrodierte Armaturen, fleckiger Waschtisch, verbreitet Roststellen an der Heizung. Im Zimmer ein Glastisch mit diversen Abplatzungen, Flecke auf dem Sofa, ein Fenster ließ sich gar nicht mehr öffnen und der Teppich hat seine besten Zeiten auch schon lange hinter sich. Wenn Sachen alt sind, ist das nicht schlimm, aber sie müssen schon in Ordnung sein. Dafür dann 320 Euro für zwei Nächte zu nehmen, ist schon ein starkes Stück. Auf unsere Reklamation hin wurde uns von Frau Birke mitgeteilt, dass sie da außer einer Nachreinigung nichts machen könne. Die Reinigung sei auch ein bekanntes Problem, weil das ukrainische Reinigungspersonal immer so traurig sei und nicht zuverlässig arbeite. Den ansonsten schlechten Erhaltungszustand des Zimmers fand Frau Birke für den Preis in Ordnung, schließlich sei das Frühstück toll und uns stünde ja auch der Wellnessbereich zur Verfügung. Das wäre als Argument aber selbst dann Blödsinn, wenn es nur ein 1-Sterne-Zimmer wäre. Dass ein Zimmer sauber und heil ist, ist doch wohl die Grundlage?! Das uns angebotene kostenlose Upgrade bei einem künftigen Besuch war jedenfalls kein Trost - es versteht sich von selbst, dass wir in dieses Hotel sicher nie wieder fahren werden. Was wohl auch in das Angebot eingepreist war...
