i booked this hotel for my birthday but never expected much. As soon as we reached the hotel, we were welcomed with a very friendly lady and served with wet towel and welcoming drinks. We were told that the room we’ve booked was overbooked and they are happily to change it to a new one. The least thing i was expected was, they gave a room with my birthdate as the number. and it was decorated nicely for my birthday. and of course with a complimentary cake and fruits😁 a lot of activities provided by the hotel, or you can just strolling around.. the view was spectacular! As we need to check out early to catch our flight, they packed our breakfast to go. Their service and hospitality is top notch! Highly recommended! and I plan to visit this hotel again for my next birthday!

Amazing place for families, but I guess it is also suitable for couples as the resort is well designed and has many different areas to relax. We found that everything was great and of good quality/ service during our trip. The staff is always helpful and kind. There are plenty to do for kids at the main pool, the aqua zone or the beach. Kids club was convenient too for occasional rains. The only comment we could have is that the check-in was too long. People usually come from far so it needs to be more effective.

Easily the best resort in khao lak. Staff is fantastic except for the waitress at Sakura restaurant. Facilities are well maintained but very dated since this resort has been around for decades. Resort ground is vast and facilities are more than adequate for the number of guests unlike AVANI+ whereby the ratio of guests to the swimming pool is overwhelming

We had an amazing time here. Thank you Rashdan, Mee and team. You made our trip much more special. Rashdan went out of his way to ensure that everything went perfectly smooth for us! Would highly recommend couples to come and have a stay at JW marriot Khao Lak.

This was our second visit in 1 year. Excellent service, beautiful resort, and lots of activities for families to do. We loved the breakfast. However, we noticed there were many flies at the buffet counter and tables. Overall, we still had a great stay at JW Marriott Khao Lak

Excellent stay in this 5 star resort! Service was at expectations, except that one promise by the front desk staff upon check-in wasn’t fulfilled. She said she would provide an electronic mosquito repellent that never came. Other inconveniences encountered were broken safe and TV channels which were fixed by the next day of stay. In general the property is well maintained despite its age. I have to commend on the excellent breakfast that we look forward to daily. There is also the private beach access, tennis court, fitness gym, squash court, 3 km length swimming pool and lots of food options on site at 5 stars prices. Memorable stay overall!

Wrost hotel for couples in Thailand, families with children everywhere no quite places, almsot no beds by the pool, if you dont have a pool room Its possible to find a quite spot we told that to the reception and they didnt offered any solution. We than checked out 2 nights earlier and they agreed to refund only one night

excellent property with extremely nice staffs. room was superbly maintained for air condition as well as cleanliness. the beach is the show stopper .. very clean and amazing fun place in safe and secured environment.. communication was superb.. room service was good, swimming area was all clean and well maintained temperature. breakfast has enough options.. we did feel that indian kitchen was repeating the same dish for breakfast poori &sabzi everyday.. there are many nice options of indian food in breakfast and should have some more options. overall a great experience and hope to come back again.

Really wonderful property located a few Km north of Khao Lak town center. Beautiful, quite beach with plenty of room to relax. The resort is very well managed and staff are wonderful, absolutely no complaints at all. There are so many pools and water play areas, it's easy to find some quite. The beach front is also huge with plenty of lounge chairs and a very nice policy to prevent people from putting out their stuff early in the morning to reserve chairs (more resorts should do the same). Breakfast was great and there are many, many food options at the property and nearby local restaurants. The room is nice sized, clean and the soft goods are high quality. I will definitely revisit this property.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Khao Lak JW Marriott Resort and Spa, and overall, it was a fantastic experience for my family and me. Upon check-in, we were warmly greeted by the friendly and attentive staff, who efficiently handled the process and made us feel genuinely welcome. The resort's location was perfect, surrounded by lush tropical greenery and nestled near the pristine beach, making it an idyllic escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the highlights of our stay was the pool access option. It was a fantastic choice, especially with kids, as we could easily take a refreshing dip whenever we pleased. The pool area was well-maintained and had a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for both couples and families. We appreciated the ample seating areas, and the poolside service was prompt and courteous. The resort itself offered a myriad of activities and facilities, ensuring there was never a dull moment during our stay. The kids' club kept our little ones entertained with fun and engaging activities, allowing my spouse and me some time to unwind and explore the other amenities. The on-site dining options were impressive, with a variety of restaurants catering to different tastes. We enjoyed several meals at the resort's restaurants, and the quality of the food was consistently excellent. However, we did find the prices to be a bit on the higher side, but that's to be expected in a luxury resort setting. The only drawback we encountered during our stay was the pool's susceptibility to getting dirty during storms. While the resort's staff worked diligently to clean and maintain the area, heavy rain and wind during our visit led to some debris in the pool on a couple of occasions. Although this was a minor inconvenience, it might be worth noting for those visiting during the rainy season. Despite the occasional pool cleanliness issue, the overall experience at Khao Lak JW Marriott Resort and Spa was one to cherish. The welcoming ambiance, attentive staff, and excellent amenities contributed to a memorable family retreat. I would certainly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a luxurious and relaxing getaway amidst the natural beauty of Khao Lak.
