I did like the layout of the room we had with the screened in porch. Very unique with a big closet and comfortable bed. I loved the outdoor area with views of the water and places to sit in the sun or a hammock by the trees. The breakfast area was nice and you could sit out on the balcony and watch the sun glisten on the water while drinking coffee.
We had problems with the elevator working and we saw older couples who really shouldn’t be doing the stairs. They needed the elevator but it wasn’t working. Also, when I sat at the table, I could look at the toaster and see a pile of breadcrumbs underneath it. Dot it needed to be cleaned. in our room, our shower had mildew spots in it, the living room couch smelled like urine, and the floor was slippery/sticky. It’s definitely an older property and needs to be kept up a little better. As far as the staff goes, one lady was very cheerful and helpful, and went above and beyond to meet our needs, but there was another set of workers that were on the rude side.
Right next-door is a very good restaurant called snappers and we ate there a couple of the nights of our stay and we really enjoyed our meals!
