Creekside Inn Islamorada

Not good! I was traveling with a woman who has lung cancer. Upon checking in we were told they had us on the second floor and there are no elevators. We immediately knew this was a problem. We inquired about canceling and was advised there was a 72 hour cancelation policy. Off the bat not a good start. Being as it was only me in my room i didn't find it necessary to have it cleaned on day 2. Joke was on me, no toilet paper. What hotel doesnt have an extra roll of toilet paper in the bathroom? My friend's bed broke and she was very unnerved by the whole experience. When we tried to cancel our last day, e pedia said they couldnt reach the hotel and therefore we were out of luck. Hotels. Com used to be good but since ******* took over they are horrible. I spoke to the manager of the hotel , Rommy, he assured me he would contact ******* and process refund for last day. I been calling ******* and the hotel and.am getting nothing but aggravated. When manager said he would take care of it,he seemed sincere. I should have asked for it in writing. Its a shame there's no integrity anymore. This experience left a mark on me and I'll never use either again!

The area on the creek is lovely. Our room was in the extreme lower level and was noisy - close to the road.

Hotel is in a great location. When I arrived, I was a couple of hours early before check-in, so I figured I can try to check in and leave the bags in the room. The front desk associate was very rude during the check in process. The Room: The beds were very comfortable on a positive note, however the room was not great at all. The A/C was great, but at one point it was blowing hot air. The next morning I took a shower, and came out to the whole bathroom pretty much flooded with water also leaking out into the entry of the room. The toilet was also about to fall over if I sat the wrong way. I told the front desk agent, who was a different person from who I dealt with at check in and she was very nice and apologetic. She said the manager will be issuing a discount for the issues, but haven’t seen it as of yet. Would not return again.

From check in to check out, everything was awesome! Our room was amazing!! We had the Upstairs, corner room with a balcony over looking the creek! Tons of fish, sharks, manatees, and dolphins constantly swimming by! So cool! The location is great! It definitely has everything you need!! We will be back for sure!

Stayed only for one night. Is a great property for the price, checking in was quick & easy. Had a great view of the canal with the boats passing by, manatees, nurse sharks, tarpons, pelicans... The building might be old but it was clean enough and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.

Best thing about this motel is that there’s a small bar right on the canal, motel needs updating badly

Very convenient place to stay for my solo fishing trip to Islamorada. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful.

The pictures and the room we got were nothing alike. The picture show French doors with glass that have nice views of the water but the room we had only had one window facing the water which was a frosted window that was small in the bathroom. This feels like a scam. The bed was comfortable. The staff was nice but They really missed the point.
