Sirius Hotel

The trip in 2024 October was not the first and I already know its not our last stay( Already booked 2025.01.31-02.02 Sirius Keszthely is part of Adventor Hotels. For me I can say now that if you see Adventor Hotels it will mean HIGH QUALITY. 1. Location: Absolute perfection as its next to lake Balaton - Right next to the Balaton - Near to the city - Easy to get there 2.Accomodation - Rooms are spotless and immaculately clean - For our stay we got a Lake view room( AMAZING) 3. Hotel staff: Above and beyond - The cleaning staff - The waiters - The kitchen staff - The reception - Spa and wellness staff All of them did a really great job for our stay. Friendly and welcoming 4. Food: ABSOLUTE PERFECTION OMG . Its like for me 2-3 days is perfection and I hate myself as well. The food is soo good I m just eating and eating. And not like average food. Its like eating a lot 2-3 days Michelin star food. ( Hotel management --＞ please pass this message to the chefs and waiters: " You are the best and your food is sometimes in our conversations and I talk about to friends and family. Thank you. :D) 5. SPA and wellness: Amazing - With family and with a daughter who is 4 years old was an absolute dream - Enough pools - Countless SAuna For me Sirius is an absolute gem and favorite Thanks again and we will be back 2025.01.31 ( Cannot wait :D)

. . . . well we didn't go !!!! I had planned to book a week there and so I wrote nicely to them (Reservations dept) and explained that we are a retired couple looking to stay for a week in the early part of September. I told them that we are flexible so any seven day period during that time would be OK. 24 hours later I had heard nothing but eventually I had a response saying that unless I gave them specific dates they could not quote. Strange! So, I wrote back and suggested the 9th of September. A sluggish response finally came in offering me a price which was 50€ MORE than I could book it on ***********. So I wrote back and said "that is stupid" after all you have to pay them a large commission. They never replied - so we won't go. The point is, that the booking desk is the most important department in any hotel and clearly the management do not have their eye on the ball which left me wondering what else they are letting slip??

Das Hotel wurde im Frühjahr 2023 neu eröffnet. Auf der Website machte es einen sehr guten Eindruck. Für meine Bedürfnisse wäre es eigentlich ideal aber nachdem ich nun zum vierten Mal enttäuscht wurde fahre ich nicht mehr hin. Die ersten Male war es auf der Terrasse sehr schmutzig und Fingerabdrücke auf Geschirr beim Abendessen ist auch nicht besonders witzig. Bei einem meiner Aufenthalte wurde mir von einer Angestellten eine Türklinke in die Rippen und den Ellenbogen geschlagen. Ohne sich zu kümmern eilte sie weiter. Wieder zu Hause, war ich zwei Wochen krank geschrieben und die Dauerschmerzen im Ellenbogen ließen erst nach etwa drei Monaten nach. Bei all meinen Aufenthalten gab es ein Problem mit ganz fürchterlicher Musik bei den Mahlzeiten. Leider sah man sich nicht in der Lage, meinen Wünschen diesbezüglich nachzukommen. Auch konnte man mir kein ruhig gelegenes Zimmer zur Verfügung stellen obwohl das Hotel bei Weitem nicht ausgebucht war und ich vorab per E-Mail darum gebeten hatte. Ich werde mir dieses Hotel nie mehr antun und ich kann nur jedem raten, genau zu überlegen, ob man dort bucht.

Lage, Ausstattung, Personal, Essen ... lassen keine Wünsche offen. Es ist ein toller Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge rund um den Balaton, Radtouren, Strandpromenaden-Spaziergang. Hier wird noch selbst gekocht was leider nicht mehr selbstverständlich ist. Die Speisen waren international. Auswahl eher klein aber umso feiner. Es wird sich hier sicher für jeden etwas finden. Das Preisniveau im Restaurant und den Bars ist dem Hotelstandard angemessen und liegt unter dem österreichischem Niveau. Alles in Allem ein wunderschöner 9 tägiger Aufenthalt.
