Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa

Another amazing stay at Lodore Falls Hotel and Spa. We booked a suite once again as the last time we stayed our suite was absolutely wonderful and well worth the extra money. This time we stayed in the spa building again on the 3rd floor. We had a view over the spa and out to the lake and a balcony with views onto the fells. The sure was huge with plenty of seating and space to relax. The bedroom was separated with a room divider which made it feel cosy. The bathroom was huge with gorgeous shower looking out onto the fells. You also get entry to the spa included with your room. The spa is beautiful, a lovely atmosphere and a good selection of facilities. Various heat experiences, showers, outdoor sauna etc. the relaxation area is lovely too. The infinity pool was my favourite and the views are to die for! The cocktails in the champagne bar were delicious and perfect to have whilst enjoying the views! We booked the Boxing Day sale offer so we also got breakfast included - we had this in our suite and it was delicious! This was easy to order and you can specify a time to have it delivered. We also got an allowance for dinner which we could use in either the falls brasserie or Mizu. This time we went to Mizu and had a fabulous meal. We don’t usually eat a lot of Asian food so we order a selection of things to try with the help of the staff. Food was amazing, service was great and there was a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. I can’t fault our stay here at all. Everything was spotlessly clean, the staff were very welcoming - I can’t wait for our next stay!

Just been in the spa and about to go to dinner feeling relaxed and pampered. Champagne in the room on arrival was perfectly chilled and the staff are friendly and effective. The attention to detail is spot on. Great place and we will stay again And again

We have stayed here many times previously and enjoyed it, but unfortunately it looks like the times have changed here. We got a gift of a 1 night stay off our daughter, we decided to add a second night and also upgrade the standard room to a classic room. We were very shocked to find our room had the windows screwed shut, as people who love fresh air we were devastated. I asked reception immediately what was the problem. They told me they would look into it. Nothing. I asked again on day 2 and was again ignored. The next day the breakfast was terrible, cold poached eggs, bacon hard and also cold. We will never stay here again Rooms

We stayed for a couple of days in May 2025 and once again the staff and the Lodore were faultless. The choice at breakfast needs to be seen and the rooms are always clean and tidy and nicely kitted out. The view from the rooms at the front of the hotel is just superb. Would have no hesitation in recommending a stay here.

Ladore Falls : Armathwaite Hall: Location 5 : 4 Spa Facilities 5 : 4 Rooms 4 : 5 Food & Drink 3 : 4 Cleanliness 5 : 5 Value for Money 3 : 4 It's a closely fought contest, in my opinion. They are very different places, both equally have their good and not so good points. Overall, I really have enjoyed both.
