Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa

It was our first time visiting and we could not have asked for a better new year! Amazing hotel, great food and wonderful staff! And what a location 😍

Distinctly average experience with patchy service across the 3 night stay. Booked lakes view double which was very cramped. Single person lift requiring luggage to be carried 4 flights of stairs. Nothing at all to do for anyone under 18 given the age limit on the spa so definitely wouldn’t recommend for anyone with kids. Very expensive for an average NY break experience

This was our first experience of spending Christmas away and we wanted to be able to switch off and relax. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left everything was taken care of. The service, amazing food and entertainment was excellent. The care and attention that goes into making sure every guest and their dogs are looked after made for a wonderful relaxing experience for us. The visit to the spa enhanced our experience. If you are thinking of going away for Christmas we highly recommend Ladore Falls. Thank you to everyone for making it special for us.

A wonderful spa with lovely spacious suites. Look as though they’ve had recent renovation with a great bathroom. Excellent service received from all staff.

This has been a difficult time for me, my wife of 56 years passed away earlier in the year. My three sons who all live away from home suggested that we take a Christmas Break, away from home for the first time ever. We chose the Lodore Falls. I arrived with mixed emotions not really knowing what to expect. My concerns were dispelled on arrival as we received a warm welcome. All of the staff were helpful, friendly and efficient. They made you feel as though they genuinely were happy to have you there. That created the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a really memorable break at the end we didn't want to leave. The Hotel was perfect, plenty of comfortable areas to relax or make new friends and it was decorated magnificently to provide the perfect Christmas atmosphere. The housekeeping throughout the whole hotel was immaculate. Our rooms were spacious, well furnished and the beds were extremely comfortable. The only minor gripe was the rooms were a little warm which resulted in the complimentary fruit bowl maturing very quickly. Not the end of the world. The first night we dined in the Mizu restaurant, the menu was very comprehensive and the food and service was perfect For the rest of our break the food was included in the package. The menu choices, the service and the food company could not be faulted, all were exceptional. The setting is superb, from the bar, the views across the lake and over the hills was magnificent. The cost was on the high side but you definitely get what you pay for. To sum up, I was a little apprehensive about facing my first Christmas without my wife but we were given a really memorable christmas my sons and I will always remember. Thank You Lodore Falls. We had the absolute pleasure of getting married here in August this year, and we cannot express enough how incredible the day was! A huge thank you to the amazing wedding team – Nicolle, Michaela, and Monique – for making everything so seamless from start to finish. The venue itself is simply stunning, and every detail was taken care of to perfection. The day was truly flawless – we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Even the little things we weren’t sure about or didn’t know how they’d pan out were handled so brilliantly by the team, making the day even more special than we could have imagined. The food was exceptional, the rooms were beautiful, the service was impeccable, and the dancefloor and evening food were just perfect. Everything was handled with such care and attention to detail. It was genuinely the best day of our lives. We’ve always loved this venue, but seeing it come to life for our wedding was beyond anything we could have hoped for. We’re already looking forward to coming back to celebrate future anniversaries here! Thank you for giving us memories we will cherish forever. 💕 Highly recommend this venue to anyone – it’s truly magical!
