The Dunloe Hotel & Gardens

Stayed for one night in May 2025. The hotel is amazing. Ever before you enter the hotel the views are spectacular. The hotel itself is top class. Check in was really quick and painless free. Staff on hand to help with the bags to your room if needed but we didn’t require it as we were only staying 1 night. Staff are amazing and so friendly and professional and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms were really beautiful with a view to die for. Food was also outstanding. Only stayed one night which was really short but so worth it. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough.

Just back from a stay at the Dunloe Hotel. We stay there because they have a kids club allowing us to dine in the restaurant.Kids club opens from 10 till 12 in the morning and again from 5:30 to 9pm. Check with hotel as I think its open at Easter and weekends. They had an Easter egg hunt this Sunday morning for the kids and they loved it. They also got a large egg each! The family rooms are very big with the kids having a separate sleeping room connected to ours.Every room has a balcony so try pick the gap view rooms as the view is better I think.These rooms do cost a little more but I think worth it. Food it excellent in the hotel and staff are great. Britta in the bar couldn't do enough for you.Jack was on hand for all our needs. Just to note there is currently no hot food served in the bar. Rico,Darragh and Grainne I must mention for the way they looked after us and especially Bart in the restaurant.As the restaurant manager he has alot to look after but he took the time to look after us again and made sure everything was just right. Some new staff this year like Adrian giving the restaurant a different feel. Would I stay again? Absolutely, a great hotel where families and guest are treated very well with a relaxed atmosphere. Just on location its outside Killarney so you would need to drive or get a taxi if you want to go into Killarney. Lastly the general manager Jason is on hand and always willing to help his staff out serving guests. This is great to see and definitely leads by example. Always has time to talk to you no matter what.

The views are magnificent and the Hotel is super clean. The check in staff are very professional and will tell you all you need. The Sauna and swimming pool are clean and a must when you visit. Inmust say it was worth every penny that was spent. Highly recommended

This hotel is one of the best I’ve ever stayed at. We have teenage son, and decided to holiday at home this year. The staff are among the most polite, kindest and heard working I’ve ever come across. There seems to be a real interest in service. The restaurant is fabulous, food is excellent, views are amazing. Bar is beautiful. Rooms are classical style, a little dated but spotless and well appointed

This quiet family friendly hotel is located in the enchanting foothills of the majestic McGuillicuddy Reeks. Excellent facilities. Exquisite dining. We loved it. Close to Killarney but yet remote enough from the “ madding “ bustle of Killarney

Fabulous setting rolling countryside Beautiful grounds and gardens to explore incl castle ruin to climb. Gap of Dunloe in the distance, simply breathtaking views So relaxing ultimate stress relief! Gorgeous spacious comfortable room with kingsize bed and big TV and front facing balcony. Enjoyed lovely swim in the pool and sauna before lunch with Mum BFF and godchild. Pure bliss. Mum and me stayed overnite bnb. Wish we could have stated longer! Dinner was spectacular Service was amazing Breakfast was very tasty nx morning. Fantastic value all round! Cant wait to return in new yr! Friendly helpful staff on reception and dining room waiters and chefs all setting standards very high!. 5 star s. Cant wait till new spa opens! Please let me know when spa packages are available to enjoy.
