Pelecas Country Club

Pelecas is an outstanding country club, set in lush surroundings. Our room was large and modern, and came fully equipped with a kitchenette and private outdoor seating area. The pool was incredible, and due to the small number of rooms, often very quiet, which is so hard to come by. The service was exceptionally good. Our bags were taken to and from our room for us, and when we needed some advice about the old town, Angela gave us everything we would need including a map. Nothing was too much trouble. We would not hesitate to stay again.

We stayed at Pelecas country club 1 week in early september 2023.The property is charming and relaxing with beautiful grounds,gardens are very well kept in a natural way not looking artificial.many olive trees all around. The room was ample and well appointed with a huge king sized bed, kitchenette,strong air conditioner and hot shower.The buffet breakfast,tastefully presented and served in the Main house has many options and although starts late at 8.30 am ,finishes also late at 11 am.Angela with her cute dog everywhere,I never asked but seems to be the owner,was very nice and helpful also Constantine. We had 3 rainy days during our stay due to the Mediterranean Daniel Storm that sadly ended up been a once in a lifetime catastrophe in eastern mainland Greece and northern Libya.A rental car is a must due to its location which is no problem because there are plenty of companies in Corfu.

It's a beautiful estate, the 2 bedroom appartement was very big and nicely decorated. As good as perfect. But as there is no restaurant for dinner, you would always have to rent a car to go to a nearby village. Minimum 50eur a day or 75 eur a day when you rent from Estate. Or take a taxi which costs 30 euro at least. The breakfast is ok but small and every day almost the same. The area where this is served is beautiful. There is also a tenniscourt you can use for free incl rackets and balls. The pool area is also nice. It's very serene & quiet. Not much to do for kids. WiFi is good though ;-). Beach towels are for rent, 3 eur per day per towel. Furthermore, there are very limited facilities on the estate. Simple and normal requests (like doing laundry) were not possible or even frowned upon. It lacks a bit of hospitality (for some), we even had an uncomfortable discussion with the manager. Though was later solved in a correct manner. We missed the additional effort when asking, in our eyes, very normal requests, which we expect when paying ＞400EUR per night. So when we look back, we would say the estate is just lovely & serene and the appartement is perfect. Hospitality should be invested in, considering the costs per night (your guest is -almost- always right and you never start any discussion). There is not much to do around the estate, so kids will be bored from time to time. And the fact that there is no possibility to have dinner; you would have to spend money on taxi or rental car. But we would probably go back there, because the appartement was so spacious and the estate was so lovely!

Really nice place. Stayed for 15D in a studio. Everything perfect. Comfortable bed! Pool is great, sunbeds too. Angela is a perfect host. Location is the best, close to beautiful remote beaches and only 20min drive from Corfu town. You need a car though. Makes your holiday so much better.

Our six night stay at Pelecas Country Club proved to be just about perfect. Alexandra was a very friendly and helpful hostess, standards of hygiene and Covid safety were impeccable, and service at breakfast was delightful, as was the range of food offered. The rooms were exactly as described on the website - in historic restored buildings in a country estate, which we could look out on from our patio, and which was extremely quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was taken in a lovely outdoor area next to the garden and pool (which we both used and enjoyed). We found the location ideal, in being only about 20 minutes by car to Corfu town, which we found very attractive and fascinating, and about 10 minutes from highly elevated Pelekas village, with several good restaurants. We also had a highly enjoyable day out at Paleokastristas on the west coast, with its monastery and castle Angelokastro.

Very unique small cottages, very warm welcome from the management. You feel like at home. Very nice rooms with old furnitures, very clean and very well equipped. The team is fully client oriented It was a very nice experience 😎 I highly recommend it
