The hotel has a few strong points, especially for families with small children. Meals are simple and not particularly impressive – you might enjoy dining more at the nearby restaurants. That said, there are always kid-friendly options like pasta and chicken nuggets at every meal, which is a plus for families. The all-inclusive drinks are of low quality, unfortunately. Another downside was the lack of clear information about the hotel facilities. I couldn’t find the playroom, gym, or sauna, and when I asked at the front desk, I was told to go to the basement. Once there, a staff member told me there was nothing available and asked me to leave – only to find out later that those amenities were there, which I only discovered on my last day. The playroom and gym could definitely use some upgrades – especially on rainy days, when indoor activities would be essential. The playroom’s mural is signed and dated 2002, which suggests no updates have been made in over 20 years. There were also no staff-led activities or group programs for children. On the positive side, the staff was amazing – everyone was kind, helpful, and very attentive. While you do have to cross the street to get to the beach, there is a convenient hotel bar right by the sand, which serves all-inclusive drinks – fresh water is especially appreciated on very hot days. Overall, thanks to its location near the beach, the great staff, nice pool area, and child-friendly meal options, I’d recommend this hotel for families with young children – but only if you’re visiting during sunny, warm weather.
