Stayed here for 3 nights during our time in Killarney. Couldn’t fault anything. Room was spacious and clean with a lovely view of the mountains. Loved the quirky decor and the significance placed on sustainability in the hotel. Breakfast box delivered to the room each morning was delicious and a great way to start our morning. Staff at the Gleneagle were helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking surrounding the hotel and free entertainment every night for residents. Gorgeous food and cocktails in O’Ds Restaurant. Shuttle bus to Killarney town also provided but only a short journey in a taxi. Would highly recommend to anyone coming to stay in Killarney!

We were there for bikefest weekend, what an amazing weekend really had a great time, hotel really is amazing for entertainment for that weekend, it's all go. Staff are amazing, swimming pool is lovely, rooms are nice, clean and comfortable, only problem I had was the tv it was impossible to get Netflix up, kept looking for us to log into google b4 Netflix and it just wouldn't log us in, pity they just hadn't the Netflix app on the tv b easier all round, I just love my movies and it would have been 5 star from me if I had this. If tv doesn't bother u then everything else is good, coffee machine in the room and water tap in the hall, fill up as much as u like. Yes it's a bit pricy but all entertainment is free when u stay at the hotel. Rooms are good because as much entertainment is going on you can't hear the music in the room. Good when u want to get a few hours sleep b4 enjoying the bands etc. bikefest is a great weekend and Gleneagle is the perfect hotel for it😊❤️

We stayed at the Killarney Towers for 2 nights beginning on August 28, 2024, Room 145. The first night was fine but on the second night, we had just returned from dinner at around 8:30pm when the band in the hotel bar started playing. Holy Lord the commotion that followed! Our room was shaking, the drapes were swaying, the TV was bouncing and our beds were sliding around the room from the thunderous clamor from below our room. My wife and I could not concentrate to read, watch TV or even talk to one another. I called the front desk and was told that the band would be playing until 11:30. I asked if we could move to another room but was told they were completely full and there were no other rooms available. By 9:30PM, we had tried using ear plugs and a sound machine to drown out the sounds of “Rocky Top” among other tunes coming from below our room at ear splitting volume but there was no escape from that constant din. With my wife in tears, I went down to the lobby to see if there was anything they could do. The clerk called the manager who came down to talk to me in the lobby. By the way, the music was just as thunderously loud in the hotel lobby. I asked the manager if we could change rooms or if he could help us find another hotel. He said the hotel was full and so were all of the other hotels in town. In other words, tough luck. He did offer to buy me a drink. I declined the offer but I told him that I wanted a refund for the night’s stay. He said he would try to get them to turn down the bass. I left and went back to my Dungeon of Horror, room 145 at the Killarney Towers. The music and the loud bass finally ended at 11:30pm but by then we were both so aggravated by the situation that it was difficult to get any rest at all. We have never had a more miserable experience at a hotel than at the Killarney Towers in Killarney.

Expensive mistake. We were very disappointed on entering our room to find that the only window in the room was frosted and barely opened so the room was very claustrophobic. There was also a continuous loud droning noise from 5pm till after 10:30pm every night and there was very little sound insulation so conversations and any noise from the corridor, upstairs and neighbouring rooms could be heard clearly. When we complained the front desk staff were aware of all these issues but had no solution apart from saying the ventilator droning noise would stop at about 10pm. Finally the breakfast was a boxed breakfast left outside the room each morning at 7am.

Awful experience. We were told 4 o clock check in. We arrived at 4 and asked to check in and they told us our room wasn’t ready yet. In my opinion if 4 o clock is check in time, the rooms should be ready for half 3. I think it’s an utter disgrace. An hour later still waiting for the room. I will not be back

Wonderful renovated industrial type room within a resort. Hotel 76 is 12 renovated original rooms from the hotel. This is within a huge resort, so we have all the amenities of the resort. The resort caters to tour groups. The highlight is the great breakfast box dropped off at your door in the morning. We had this on the road and kept us through the day.
