Previously, in 2018-2019, I frequently stayed at this hotel due to the lack of competitors, but I eventually stopped because the quality of service had significantly declined. After many years, I decided to revisit the hotel to see if any improvements had been made. Here are my observations:
1. In some areas, there have been noticeable improvements: the hotel is cleaner, and the air conditioner in my room operated much more quietly than before.
2. However, the major issue with poor soundproofing remains unresolved. The hotel staff at the reception desk do not inform guests about the importance of maintaining silence. For instance, after a long day, I went to bed at 8:00 PM but was woken up at 9:30 PM by a group of 15-20 people from the neighboring room who were talking loudly and making noise in the corridor. I truly don’t understand how so many people are allowed to occupy a single room. When I addressed them, my complaints were dismissed with laughter, and the noise, including loud music, continued until 3:00 AM, completely depriving me of sleep. (It is unfortunate that it is impossible to attach video evidence of the nighttime noise to the review).
3. The staff also left a poor impression: cleaning equipment (such as carts and vacuum cleaners) was often left in the middle of the corridors, making it inconvenient for guests to pass through.
4. Breakfast was very limited: the choices were rice or pasta with chicken or crab sticks. Additionally, coffee options beyond the basic ones, like cappuccino, came at an extra charge.
5. At checkout, I was not provided with a receipt and was told to retrieve it myself from the payment platform used for the booking. In most hotels, this process is straightforward and handled without issue.
Conclusion: While there have been minor improvements, serious problems remain unaddressed. I do not recommend this hotel for a peaceful stay.
