Les Rizieres Lombok - Tetebatu

Do not miss this gem! Wow. This place was fantastic. We stayed unfortunately for one night only, but we really enjoyed the tranquility and the great energy surrounding Les Rizieres. The terrace immersed in the rice fields is simply spectacular. The room was cozy and provided with all amenities. The breakfast was really good - especially the papaya ginger jam made by the owner which I will never forget. The hotel features two very sweet and friendly dogs and one cute little cat too. The staff helped us also with transport to Bangsal harbor to catch the boat to Gili for a very fair price. Next time we'll definitely stay more. Totally recommended!

We stayed here for three nights as part of a 3.5 week holiday in Indonesia. We chose not to trek Mt Rinjani and instead booked the Paddy Fields tour through the hotel, with Yan as our guide. Definitely recommend as a good way to learn more about the area, explore the countryside, swim in a waterfall and be educated about how the locals live. We also visited a local warung for lunch which had delicious food. Second day we hired a motorcycle from the hotel to go and visit Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep Waterfall, where we opted to visit all the waterfalls there. Yes it does involve walking through jungle and streams etc but you have a guide who helps plus takes excellent photos! Jan also worked at the hotel in the kitchen and serving. His English is exceptional and helped to make our visit special. One of our favourite meals during our whole stay in Indonesia was the Mahi Mahi we ate on our first night, delicious. We chose to eat all our evening meals here but this was by far the stand out. Breakfast was a fruit platter, juice, coffee and a choice from the menu, again good. Our bedroom was lovely with views over paddy fields, only downside was when it rained parts of the bathroom were soaked but I would choose this inconvenience to be able to experience an outdoor bathroom. Staff were all really helpful and friendly and a credit to the place.

This is a perfect homestay in the heart of Tetebatu rice country. The rooms are beautiful and the environment is delightful. The hosts were very helpful - big shout out to NURI who organised things for us. Also, the home cooked food was exceptional, certainly the best meal we had on Lombok. We look forward to returning.

Everything about this place was perfect. Thomas & Katie are very helpful, and their staff are so friendly. Vandini was always happy and chatty, and Yen took us on a very interesting and educational tour of the area. It felt homely and comfortable, as tho we were with friends. And we loved the dogs....Lulu and Mini

Very welcoming owners and staff despite our late arriving flight, clean and comfortable room and breakfast view right over the rice fields. We organised handicraft tour and onward transport via the hotel. Would have been a great place to hang out more than one night and see more of the local area.

Great stay in this home stay ! Owner are very dedicated , friendly . Location amongst the rice paddies and coconut tree is wonderful ! Nice walk to jungle and local villages is definitely a must … Room is spacious and the bathroom as well ( very clean) Good menu is limited but very tasty ! Would highly recommend
