The hotel was a relatively budget option (although by no means cheap) for visiting neighbouring Strasbourg during the Chris**as season. As check in was until midnight per the email confirmation, we ate in Strasbourg before arriving at the hotel around 10p.m. The hotel front door was wide open. A notice said keys were in a box with a code sent via email, but no email had been sent, so we called the phone number and were told that the key was in our unlocked room. Upon going to the room, the door was locked. After calling the phone number again, the woman said she would come to help us. In the meantime the door was unlocked from the inside by another guest sleeping in our room who had apparently taken the wrong room. The woman cleared up the situation and cleaned the room, but was also not very polite, asking us why we arrived "so late" despite the hotel offering check in until midnight.
The rest of the stay was fine, apart from uncooked boiled eggs being served for breakfast.
