Hotel in zona Byggðasafn Reykjanesbæjar, Keflavik

What a great way to end our two week trip. An overnight layover in Iceland and this is the perfect place to stay for Iceland hospitality. Andy picked us up at the airport and gave us a a full tour of the 1x6. Funny guy! Quirky place with just the right amount of quirky. Bed is comfortable, pleasant surprise of homemade chocolate and a bottle of water on our door at bedtime, Andy (Comedian, hotelier, barista and chauffeur) made us espresso in the morning and got us on the final leg of our trip. Close to Keflavik Airport but a world away. Oh, and don’t miss the “blue lagoon “ just in the courtyard.

Ho prenotato una camera per la mia famiglia per rimanere dopo un viaggio di crociera. La descrizione della stanza è per 5 occupazioni. Eravamo 2 adulti e 3 bambini. Tuttavia, non c'era alcuna opzione per aumentare il numero di persone prima del preset “2 adulti” nella mia prenotazione sull'app. Il piano è cambiato e abbiamo avuto un altro membro della famiglia che veniva in crociera, quindi ho chiesto un letto a rotelle nella nostra stanza o abbiamo cambiato la nostra prenotazione in due camere triple per ospitare il membro della famiglia aggiuntivo 4 mesi prima della nostra arrivo. Nonostante le e-mail ripetute direttamente all'hotel e i messaggi tramite l'app di prenotazione, non c'è stata alcuna risposta dall'hotel a questa questione. Il giorno dell'arrivo, nella pioggia con tre bambini giovani, la ricezione dell'hotel ci ha informato che per ospitare tutti noi dobbiamo pagare quasi 300 dollari oltre a 450 dollari che abbiamo già pagato per la camera di famiglia per una notte. Pensiamo che il pagamento per la rotaia e la persona aggiuntiva sia assolutamente giusto, ma ora siamo 700usd+ per 1 camera per 1 notte in un hotel 3-star. Un po 'di testa in alto in qualsiasi momento durante il periodo di 4 mesi tra la nostra richiesta e l'arrivo sarebbe cortese.

hotel molto adatto per chi deve andare poi in aeroporto. stanze grandi e pulite, parcheggio gratuito e molto vicino all'aeroporto. ci siamo trovati bene, con camere silenziose e un prezzo interessante rispetto alla media. soddisfatti su tutto

This is the worse hotel/BB I've ever set my foot in. It had a totally unacceptable standard. Check-in was quick and quite abrupt. The room was in a very bad condition. The bed linen was totally worn out and the pillowcase seemed already used with several dark hairs on it. The duvet was thin and worn our and so was the towel. I removed the duvet and pillow and used my sleeping bag instead. The door had scratches as if someone had tried to escape from it, unfortunately I didn't take a picture of the scratches around the looker on inside of the door, it must have been made by someone with someting hard who was desperate. The bathroom was unbelievable. See the pictures. It was dirty and broken. The bath mat who I was meant to share with the other rooms was totally worn out. There was hair in the shower, that was a total wreck. I didn't shower during my stay because of this. The wi-fi was non-existing on my room. The breakfast was really bad. The juices was presented in containers and so diluted with water that there was barely any color left. It tasted nothing. Everything was out of its original packing and probably of the cheapest brand available, at least it tasted so. I tried the apple juice and just had to pour it out. Ended up with two toast bread with jam, I guess that was the most tasty. The airport shuttle was limited to pre-defined times, and could be full if you didn't order it early the day before. The latest departure in the morning from the BB was 0740 am. I guess its convenient for the hotel to get the guests out early. The parking is not free if you book via ******* a note said. I paid 16000 ISK for one night. I really regret booking this hotel. I didn't feel secure and there wasn't a friendly atmosphere so I just pulled it through the night. The shared kitchen was in ok condition, but that was the only positive thing to say. I could have taken a lot more pictures to document this, but my priority ended up looking forward to leave as quick as possible. Luckily I got a shared room at a hostel closer to the airport the next day. That was Hilton standard compared to this.

Abbiamo avuto un buon soggiorno. Ci sono stati accolti in un bel posto, aiutato a parcheggiare gratuitamente in garage sotto l'hotel. Abbiamo avuto una fantastica suite da letto. Quando ho chiamato per il servizio in camera e il ristorante era occupato, la signora dal desk front è venuta in camera per prendere il mio ordine! Quando l'uomo del desk front, ha portato la valigia al garage (anche se c'era un ascensore) per assicurarsi che tutto fosse buono per noi. E per toccarla, ho lasciato il mio cappotto nella stanza quando sono andato e mi stanno mandando indietro. È assolutamente perfetto per una notte prima del nostro volo e incredibilmente tranquillo e comodo. Non scrivo spesso recensioni, ma apprezzo così tutti i cure. Grazie.

La decorazione all'interno dell'hotel è molto pensativa, molto bella!Lo spazio della stanza è molto pieno, pochi sono forniti con salse e funzionalità di trattamento dell'acqua!La rete WiFi è normale, c'è una sala da ginnastica. Il servizio di lavanderia è anche (tassa), non lo sappiamo più tardi.Il ristorante dell'hotel è anche molto standard, così come molti dispositivi stupendi. Il personale è molto amichevole.E'un ottimo hotel.

Posto bellissimo arredato in maniera fantastica, da fuori non è molto carino, non è un albergo quindi non ha una reception ma all’interno ho trovato tutto quello di cui avevo bisogno. Ho letto molto grande lenzuola pulite e stirate cosa non semplice da trovare in Islanda c’è un divano ed un ulteriore letto. Televisione nuovissima e particolarmente grande. Bagno spazioso la colazione già presente in camera, non paragonabile con una di albergo appena preparata è varia

Siamo stati in questa guesthouse la notte in cui siamo arrivati a Keflavik, ci siamo trovati benissimo: le camere sono funzionali e i bagni sebbene in comune sono molto puliti, la colazione davvero ottima!
