We stayed here for one night returning home from a road trip to Colorado. It is very conveniently located just off the interstate and there are several restaurants nearby for dinner. Our room was clean and comfortable with a king bed and a little "sitting area" with couch and table. A couple small suggestions: It would be nice if the lamp over the couch had the ability to dim. It was like you were on stage under a spotlight if you turned that thing on! Additionally, it would be a nice touch to have a few soft blankets on hand at the front desk. We asked if they had a blanket we could use as we were a little chilly in the room and wanted to sit on the couch. They essentially gave us another huge, heavy comforter that was a bit unwieldy and over-the-top for what we needed. But overall a good hotel and we would stay again.

So the pool is closed for repair and there is dust associated with this . Now because the pool is under construction there is no breakfast. , zero nothing , nada . None of this is explained until you get there . My advice ask them .

This Holiday Inn Express is definitely a great option for anyone traveling I-80. The room was great, and the pool and breakfast areas were immaculate. My only minor complaint about the property was that bathroom showed some minor need for attention from the moisture. All in all, it was a great hotel for the value, and Kearney is a decent stop when you are road tripping down I-80. My only real issue that came up was that someone clearly had brought a dog into the "no pets" hotel. It started barking at 3 a.m. and woke up both my daughter and me. While this is an example of the inconsiderate attitude with some other guests, I did bring it up to the front desk at check out. The staff member took down our location in case the dog had damaged something in an adjacent room, but that was the extent of what she could do. It feels like this was something she has dealt with before.

This holiday inn express in Kearny Nebraska was a nice respite after driving for seven hours. The room was clean and neat. I used the exercise room and it was well equipped with machines weights, and even an exercise ball. Everything there was heat, and there was even cold water and fresh towels available in the exercise area. Our breakfast was delicious and the food was plentiful. The dining area was so neat and clean. We complimented the person who was working in the kitchen. The extra service is what we really appreciate it as we were attending a funeral and wanted to change our clothes afterwards before the long drive home. The desk clerk said that we could keep the room until 2 PM without incurring any further charges. That was greatly appreciated as it was convenient for us. Service and amenities such as those available at this facility cement our loyalty to the Holiday Inn Express family and we are happy to earn the rewards.

There are many hotel choices at this exit on I80. We highly recommend you choose the Holiday Inn Express: quiet, clean, comfortable room near lots of restaurants. Speaking of food...best breakfast 'included with' hotel we have had and we travel a lot. Fresh, hot food with many choices. And a soda machine for non-coffee drinkers! ;-)

Warm welcome and helpful desk person, Kierra. Easy parking & access. Clean. Air freshener too strong, can't open windows to air room out. Good freeway access. Good breakfast. Was able to use breakfast room in evening to play game.

Located right off I-80 on the south side, close to places to eat (BBQ restaurant across the parking lot), gas station next door, clean, friendly staff, will stay again, best part of the room are the reading lights on the headboard of the bed.

Stopped here on a 2 week road trip, wasn't expecting much more then a place to sleep. What we found was a simple and basic hotel, it was very clean, staff very friendly, and the whole place smelled amazing. I would definitely stay here again. Holiday inn express is sometimes hit or miss in my experience, but this one was great!

Average means good. Compared with other inns of its kind, this one makes the grade -- passes the test. I'd like to gripe about the number of dogs walking around with their owners. To tell the truth, none bothered us. The staff we encountered were great. My opinion matches pretty much everything Tripadvisor reviewers say who give it four and five points. But my expectations are average, i.e., 3. The Kearney Holiday Inn Express nails that. I will add it seems like an attractive place for families to choose.
