Parasol Camps at Chandra Tal is an absolute gem for travelers seeking a perfect blend of adventure and comfort in the lap of nature. From the moment we arrived, the team ensured we felt welcomed and at home amidst the serene beauty of the Himalayas. The tents were impeccably clean, cozy, and surprisingly warm despite the chilly nights. The attention to detail in providing warm bedding, clean facilities, and even hot water in such a remote location was truly commendable. The food was another highlight. After a day of exploring the breathtaking Chandra Tal Lake, coming back to a hot, freshly prepared meal under a starry sky was an experience in itself. Their local dishes had an authentic flavor, making every meal memorable. What stood out the most was the hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to cater to every need, ensuring we were comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Waking up to the crisp mountain air, with the majestic Himalayan peaks surrounding us, was a surreal experience. Staying at Parasol Camps added so much more to our visit to Chandra Tal. If you’re planning a trip to this enchanting region, Parasol Camps is the place to stay. It’s more than just accommodation; it’s an experience of a lifetime. Highly recommended!

The camp remains open between mid May & mid October. I visited the place 6th October. Most of the camps were closed at that time. But Parasol was open. The price might look high, but the level of hospitality they are providing in the nomans land is amazing. The add will be if u get a chance to meet the owner, Bisan Lal ji(Guru, BSNL). He entertained us throughout the evening, provided medical facility for high altitude sickness. Plz dont expect 3/5 star facility. They are providing basic facilities like hot water, power, good food, unlimited supply of tea, clean washroom, good bed n blankets etc at a height if 14k feet, to reach the place u need to travel 60km offroad.

Visited Chandratal lake last week and stayed overnight at Parasol Camps. After a tiring journey from Kaza once you reach the camp and you are greeted by smiling faces who offer you hot dal and bhat.....it just rejuvenates you. Parasol Camp is a home far away from home and i think if they offer me a job I will just want to stay there. Neel is a great guy and the rest of the team is as inviting and friendly as him. The tent is perfect....neat and clean and warm. We were provided with hot water bags which kept us comfortable all night through. Food is yummy and healthy. I loved the stay and would recommend it to everyone visiting Chandratal Lake.
