Lemon Grove Hotels and Studios

After seeing the reviews I was dreading it going with my 14 year old moody daughter. But I can honestly say we had a great time, it’s very clean, bedding changed daily and towels, except Sundays but surely they are allowed 1 day off a week!! Cleaner was friendly and very thorough, hotel owners couldn’t do enough. Basic and cheap what more do you want for the price you pay for this hotel. It’s out the way of the ***** but with in walking distance of everything. You can take food and drink to the pool which is fantastic when you’re on a budget, I honestly don’t know what all the bad reviews are about. You want 5* then go pay for it. But this is a beautiful typical Greek hotel with everything you need and a little bit more. I will definitely return minus the moody teenager!!

Great hotel, location is perfect, right on the ***** but far enough down its own little lane that you don’t get bothered with noise from the *****. At the far end of the ***** as well so a bit quieter but still a short walk from the biz. Straight onto the beach as well, right next to the hotel has only a metre or so of sand before getting to the water which was great for getting in and out the sea from sun lounger in hotel and only a short walk up the beach to get to a larger area of sand or beds on the sand. Hotel was quite quiet & calm when we were there which was great for chilling out but could go to some of the hotels a few doors up to use their bar & pool if you wanted a more party atmosphere. Room was simple but had everything we needed. Shutters on the doors helped keep the room cool throughout the day. Beds comfy and clean. Fridge & small sink to use. Shower didn’t have a curtain so we had to be careful not to soak everything but that wasn’t an issue. Staff very friendly and helpful - went out of their way to make sure that we were enjoying our time.

You get what you pay for but Alex made this holiday great! Basic everything but room cleaned daily, warm welcome from Alex and great location, this is not the Ritz but it’s ideal for fun holiday. We travelled as group of 4 men and no one had much to complain about. It is basic though so keep this in mind!

manager unhelpful, room was dirty on arrival, half eaten food on worktop, dirt under bed, sheets stained, shower curtain hanging off, had to hold shower with one hand, hotel pics are altered, no palm trees or flowers, no restaurant or bar as advertised. Beach about 5 foot deep, wouldnt even get a sunlounger on it. Terrible hotel

Even though the beach is near and the view is also nice, the room and the bathroom is awfully poor and dirty. The pool is dirty also, and there are no restaurant or bar despite of the fact that they are advertising those here. If you want to enjoy your holiday, go as far as you can from this place.

when we got there late at night we didn’t actually know where to go because the reception is hidden around the corner. when we found a security guard who gave us our keys and shown us to our room. i was genuinely so surprised when he opened the door we walked in and it was a nasty place my friend sat on her bed and it literally fell apart we fixed it and while we were doing that we found an old razor underneath the bed. our pillows were brown and we had to put an unexpected and unmentioned €50 deposit. the manager is an awful person she constantly lies threatens to kick you out when my friend spoke back to her because she was being so unrealistic shouting at us for getting sand in our room when there is a beach right next to the hotel. supposedly you get given towels all we got was hand towels we spoke to her about this she said that she would get us some towels, this never happened. the manger will attempt to take as much money as possible from you if she can, our towel has sand literally just sand and she said that’s €10 euros out of the deposit i took the towel of her and shook it about on my balcony and it was fine just after our room was not cleaned once even though we stayed for 5 days . the manager claims that if there is a stain or even a mark on the bedsheets that it gets thrown away however when i got there there was a decently big stain on my bed. which tells me that they don’t throw them away because who would do that anyway ….. my final conclusion of this place is that the manager wants to pocket your hard earned money just for a stain which will come out in the wash anyway the hotel is an absolutely vile place your room will not be cleaned while your in it or before you are in it and finally the manager is the worst person ever like so so so unrealistic miserable and a money grabber
