Hotel in zona Bhandari Family Mart & Liquor Store, Kathmandu

Grande posizione, poiché l'hotel è a pochi minuti a piedi dall'aeroporto, soprattutto dopo un volo notturno tardivo. Le camere sono state eccellenti, molto pulite, spaziose e grandi strutture, si può anche accedere a tube e altri canali attraverso la TV dell'hotel. Il colazione mattina è stato delizioso, hanno fornito una vasta varietà di piatti. Tutto è stato grande, ma il prezzo è stato un po' troppo alto considerando e confrontando altri hotel in Nepal. La stanza che ho prenotato costa circa 110USD per notte e penso di poter prenotare un hotel 5 stelle con le migliori strutture e servizi con lo stesso importo di denaro. Certamente prenotera' di nuovo, ma una stanza più conveniente.

È stata una piacevole esperienza che ho avuto in questo hotel. Bello, amichevole e utile personale. Il personale di manutenzione di casa Sudip Tiwari e Pramod sono molto buoni e utili. Più verso le scelte alimentari locali, ma il personale sta facendo un ulteriore sforzo per mantenere soddisfatti gli ospiti.

La posizione dell'hotel è conveniente, l'atteggiamento del cameriere è molto buono, in generale, le strutture di accoppiamento in tutti gli aspetti della zona sono già buone, la stanza è anche pulita, dovrebbero essere tutte

Jhapad, Rohit, Bikash, Nisto sono molto gentili e professionali. Hanno sempre controllato se il cibo era buono e chiesto se aveva bisogno di qualcosa. Grazie per la vostra cura. Grazie a loro, sono riuscito a mangiare comodo. Raccomando il ristorante per colazione dell'hotel.

We had the pleasure of staying at this exceptional hotel for a total of 6 nights, and we couldn't be more thrilled with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff displayed an authentic and warm hospitality that made us feel truly at home. One of the highlights of our stay was the remarkable cleanliness and tranquility of our room. Stai qui per 9 notti, amava il servizio e le camere sonore. Il pranzo e la colazione erano sorprendenti e la posizione dell'hotel è parte del centro Chaya che ha un sorprendente luogo di caffè chiamato Arabica caffè!! Una volta che abbiamo raccolto i nostri berretti intorno a Tamel, gli shopping e i ristoranti esterni sono molto facili da camminare e godere. Quando usiamo i taxi abbiamo risparmiato così tanto scaricare Pathao così non abbiamo dovuto negoziare il prezzo e diventare sovraccaricati. Molto consiglia Aloft a Kathmandu e sono grandi ambasciatori del nome e del marchio Marriott!

Pros Great location for exploring Themal and provided you are not too high up, you shouldn't hear any road noise as it's set back. I was on the 4th floor and could hear the incessant beeping motorbikes but had moved from the first floor where i heard none (but was directly above the kitchen so could hear banging and chairs scraping from around 6am). 2nd floor is probably a good choice Staff were all excellent Room cleaned daily with 2 large bottles of water provided each day Breakfast was ok - decent variety of fruit, local and western with custom eggs. Coffee was instant though. Air con has heat facility No deposit required on check-in Toiletries provided Cons Some noise depending on your room location - dont stay in 107 or room directly above the kitchen/restaurant No safe for passport, cash etc in room Breakfast area isn't particularly clean i.e. dirty table cloths/mats Poor standard of fixtures/fittings e.g. gaps in windows and doors, curtains dont quite close right, dirty shower curtain, the rooms have seen better days but for the price its still good value. No coffee or milk in room (or 3-in one) No phone charging point near the bed Bathroom mat was old and dirty, no floor towel Tips: take extra passport photo if you intend to get a sim card at the airport, unlimited data one with nepal telecom cost me $10 - signal was mostly ok. Get your currency before you arrive or take enough to convert there, the atm machines are expensive Taxi from airport to Themal should be around 350 rupees working on 50 rupees per km plys 30 rupees start charge. You will be hounded relentlessly by people from the second you leave the plane for tour services etc. It may seem impolite but dont make eye contact, say no thank you and keep walking, otherwise you will spend your entire trip speaking to them. Right now its cold at night, pack accordingly. Be prepared to pay for everything, every temple, every place of historical interest - foreigners are charged around 1000-2000 rupees each time. E.g. all the Durbar squares, main stupas and temples. Don't assume that because Nepal is a developing country it is cheap. It isn't. In fact i found it comparable to some developed countries and not cheaper than say Thailand. A meal would cost me around 1000 rupees. In a smaller more local place you may pay 500. Don't take your new trainers, it's a very dirty, dusty city but exactly what you would expect if you've ever seen it on TV - it's all part of the experience. For exploring all of the main parts of Kathmandu, id say 5 days is a good amount of time. I recommend the everest helicopter tour but on that note i will say that tours are very expensive here, more expensive than even Hong Kong, Thailand, etc!! I ended up walking to the main temples, Chandragiri, Bakhtapur for the more local experience.

Sono al punto di partenza di un soggiorno 18-night al Lakhey Hotel a Kathmandu, e posso dire sinceramente che è stato meraviglioso. Ho conosciuto molti del personale, e sono tutti caldi, amichevoli e graziosi. L'hotel è aperto solo per qualche mese e è senza spot e pulito, mantenuto in parte da uno dei più duri custodi di casa, Sumitra, che ho mai visto. Il capo del personale, Rajesh, e i suoi assistenti, Raj Kumar e Ram, che hanno anche molteplici compiti di cucina, mi salutano ogni mattina con un caldo benvenuto, e vi faranno sentire come se fossi parte della loro famiglia. L'hotel è situato in un tranquillo quartiere, a pochi passi dalla strada occupata e convenientemente situato vicino alla zona turistica di Tamel. Le camere sono senza scena pulite, moderne, piuttosto in alto, ma molto economiche. L'hotel non dispone di un ristorante, ma offre un grande colazione che va oltre quello che si chiama ”continentale colazione” che si potrebbe raggiungere in America. Include uova, però le piace (mi piace l'omelette!), freschi tagli di frutta, verdure, patate, tosta con burro e gioielli, succo, caffè o tè. E c'è un ristorante vicino alla porta per altri pasti. Non sono mai rimasto all'Hotel Lakey prima, ma posso molto consigliarlo, e certamente ritornerò in futuro. Godetevi il vostro soggiorno ... non vi pentirete!!!

New Hotel with Great Roof Top View, needs to improve. Room is nice, smells new, however bed sheet is completely new , itchy , it’s like just bought and not washed , direct to the bed or been there dusty for long time. Towel is dirty white, not convenient. Water is totally disappointed, Color yellow, un-filtered and smells. Need proper filtration. Massage, all is new, bed is sounding haha , no music , no aroma for 8k local currency, 1 hour, masseuse was good. Food some are great, some are tough. View is the best for this hotel, but they open only afternoon to 10.. if you are sunrise person , this hotel is not for you. Sun set was great. Staffs are friendly, however next visit should be more thoughtful on guiding guests, where is elevator, what are facilities and hotel can offer. Breakfast was fair, price is recommendable.
