Hotel Brown Beach House & Spa

Excellent facility. Checkin was a little long but rewarded with bubbly champagne! Got upgraded to loft with jacuzzi. Hotel with a view of the sea and very nice complete facility. Breakfast limited. 2 pools available but main pool always packed. Will stay here again!

We get upgraded for a room with jacuuzi. We did have a very good time at the hotel. But sadly we couldn’t make it for the massage as we don’t have enough time for it.

Just 20 minutes walk from the old town , probably the best choice if you want to enjoy a nice pool and good spa as well

Hotel is beautifully designed - pool is stunning to look at, the rooms are well-designed and the communal areas are lovely. Breakfast was good and you could select an a la carte item to order. Location for getting to Trogir is great - I’ve seen complaints about the path to Trogir but it is really no issue and while the road can be a little busy it is nothing crazy. The flights overhead also were not an issue for me. My main issue with the hotel was the fact that the main pool was advertised as heated - as I was coming at the end of the summer, one of my main criteria was having a heated pool. However, the main pool is not heated at all and was in fact freezing. For the duration of my stay, I was one of a handful of people who braved going in. When I raised the false advertisement with the hotel, I was told I could just use the Spa pool. However, the main pool is the showstopper of the hotel. The Spa pool has no view, is rundown and has a general dirty vibe to it. I also went to the Spa for the sauna / jacuzzi to find that the jacuzzi was cold - I informed the hotel but didn’t get a response. There was also a general coldness to the staff/lack of service. I spent most of my time sat at the pool / the beach club - there were no staff to be seen at either. At the beach club, I had to pull out my own sunlounger and set it up. Staff only turned up when they told me I had to leave the beach club for a private event. The staff were not very attentive, I had to ask where the pool towels were, was never offered a drinks or snack menu at the pool / beach and were slow to take breakfast orders. The level of service does not meet expectations of a four-star hotel. I think with some small tweaks this hotel could be amazing but unfortunately in its current state it is not worth the price.

Our stay at this hotel was at the end of our 14 day vacation, and me and my husband were quite homesick at this point. Upon our arrival, we immediately felt at home; the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. We were upgraded to the presidential suite, which as never happened to us before, and it hands down made our entire trip. Everything from the pool, breakfast, service was 10/10. I would come back to Trogir just to stay at this hotel again. Thank you for making our trip memorable!

We were recommended this property by my sister and husband. They were here a few years ago and really enjoyed it. So my gorgeous gf and I booked this to get away from our stressful and crazy croatian family before we left. Check in and check out staff were great, remaining staff at the outdoor bar / restaurant were very friendly too. The room was nice, views were good and the bed was comfy. Bathroom was spacious but the bath / shower had the glass divider door thingy which was odd as it's normally seen in Australian hotels. Never understood this as it's most likely cheaper to install a full glass shower or put up a curtain. Either way, the rooms were good. The breakfast was delicious and had a decent spread and choices. The property is close to Trogir and a 10-15min walk into town. Close to the airport too and you can take a bus for cheaper option but when it's hot and humid, take a taxi...it'll be worth it! One thing to be aware is that you will see and hear planes flying above the hotel. Living in Brisbane with the new flight path, I kind of missed it! We'd come back if we were in the area!

Hotel Brown From the moment you walk in you realise this is something special which is nothing to do with an open bar at check-in and a complimentary room upgrade. The hotel has a feeling of luxury and opulence. The staff are all helpful and friendly. Our upgraded room was fabulous with views of the pool, sea and old town. Breakfast was good help yourselves to full continental, with cooked options to order. The milk for cereals was long-life not to everyone’s taste. There are two pools, main one is large with plenty of sun beds. The other one is much smaller but heated. On the not so good side most of the large pool is in the shade until 15:00 and the floor around the small pool does not look like it has been cleaned since it was installed. The walk to the old town is not as bad as previously noted by other, there are twenty or so steps to negotiate or a very steep hill up to the entrance. Yes the Hotel (and Trogir) are on the direct flight path to the Airport again a little annoying but not that bad about ten a day. If you are going to stay in Trogir this is the place to stay. The town is amazing with lots of good restaurants (some not to expensive £50-100 but some are £100-£300 for dinner for two). Uber to old town £5. Worth every penny.

Hotel is stunning, finished to a high spec Front pool was cold, but did brave it. Room 312 was stunning. Breakfast was simple and gorgeous. Location is perfect. Room was clean, quiet, modern. Bed comfy. Can really fault at all. Would definitely recommend.

Our flight was canceled so we called the hotel from the airport hoping that they will have a room. Yes, was the answer we do have one left. We arrived late, and got this cute room with upstairs jacuzzi, and sunbed on the roof. The entire evening we were working on our new flight back home but due to unavailability we had to extend our stay at the hotel. This required us to change the room, this time with sea view. The room was big and very comfy. The reception allowed us to do late check out. The hospitality was so heart warming, the entire staff is so polite and helpful. The food at the restaurant is fabulous. The spa and two pools are great for relaxation. This is very beautiful hotel with home-like energy. Thank you Brown Beach Hotel for everything, we will be back, Beata & Mike
