是有歷史教堂改造的酒店，改造得很有獨特氣質，傢俱簡單點，可以在酒吧拿取免費氣泡水，餐廳是當地網紅餐廳，酒店外面的河和橋可以散步，周邊都是這個教堂以前擁有者的物業，歷史街區不遠。

Struttura fantastica ricavata da un antico borgo medievale, zona bar e ristorante molto caratteristici con camino cuoio e legno. Tutto molto eco sostenibile e curato. Personale gentilissimo colazione un po’ essenziale ma molto buona. Camere molto curate nei dettagli e accoglienti, nella mia mancava la cassetta di sicurezza ma penso avrei potuto richiedere una camera provvista alla reception. Parcheggio comodo. Prezzo assolutamente giusto.

A mid evil Abby converted to a hotel. Our three room suite was quite large and beautifully furnished. The staff are friendly and helpful. Located next to a river and a huge park, there’s both serenity and activity easily available. I think the hotel is in a ideal location when visiting Kassel.

We had a wonderful two days stay in this historical hotel that was once a monastery. As we had motorbike we had to park in the garage behind the hotel as the steep, cobbled ground made it unsafe to park. The staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was small but comfortable overlooking the beer garden. We received a voucher for a complimentary drink at the bar which was a nice touch. We loved the mix of the modern boutique hotel whilst preserving the history and architecture of the place. We didn’t have breakfast but had a great evening meal in the restaurant. It had a great location near the centre of Kassal and the river. When we stayed there was a festival with music, food and beer stalls which we enjoyed. We would recommend this hotel.

The place itself is ok - nothing fancy, but actually quite charming. However, if they are having an event during your stay, and you want to get some sleep, you probably need to find another hotel.
We had 1 night at Renthof, as a stop during our travel back home, after a 10 hours drive, and before an 8 hours drive. When we arrived, we realized that the hotel was hosting a wedding on that day.
The room we got was small, but cozy, however, sleep was impossible, due to the sound coming from the party downstairs. Not only the sound was incredibly loud, but the whole room was rattling from the bass' vibration. We were given a room further away from the core of the party, but did not help much. That meant a sleepless night, and a bad experience.
If avoiding to rent rooms right above the event place is not a possibility, it would be nice (and considerate) to at least send out a warning in good time, so the guest can choose whether to endure the sleepless night, or to find somewhere else to get some rest.
As a side note, I suggest that the 'sound-isolated rooms' statement from the description here in the page should be modified.

A charming hotel with a beautiful relaxing courtyard next to a church, a nice restaurant and very good breakfast selection. The rooms can be small but they are comfortable and quiet. Staff not overly friendly but business-like and efficient.

I was concerned about hot weather so I called the hotel to confirm that they had AC and was told that they did, but they don't. When we checked in we were told it was probably a language miscommunication. The hotel is charming and the weather was relatively cool but even within our own fan it was hot. Rooms facing the courtyard may be cooler with less traffic noise so that you can keep the window open. The room had no minibar/refrigerator, kettle or coffee makings.

I was concerned about the heat so I called the hotel to confirm that they had Air Conditioning and was told that they did. But, they do not. Even though it was relatively cool out and we had our own fan we were uncomfortably hot. I would recommend getting a room facing the courtyard, sheltered from the sun and away from the street noise. There was also no mini bar/refrigerator, kettle or coffee service.
