Arni Hotel Domotel

Domotel Arni Hotel in Karditsa is a nice four-star,historic hotel in the very heart of Karditsa City in Thessaly Region, a stone’s throw from Central Square of Karditsa (Liberty Square-Plateia Eleftherias), and close to the main Park.of Karditsa (Pafsilipo-Παυσίλυπο-about 5 min walk from hotel) and a good base for an excursion (half or full day) to the scenic Plastiras Lake (named also Megdova or Tavropos Lake). The Domotel Arni Hotel is one of the first hotels in the Balkans established in 1921 and therefore is considered to be an architectural gem of rococo style in the great area of Thessaly (cultural heritage), and after the thorough (full) renovation in 2006 it has been transformed to a beautiful modern hotel (with a mix of history, tradition and architecture). The Domotel Arni Hotel is a nice and comfortable hotel (nice bedding), the room was spacious (with good amenities), very clean, quiet, safe, and carefully renovated and the service of the staff was excellent as they were polite, attentive and helpful (e.g. they reserved a parking space just outside the hotel for our convenience). The breakfast was very good with excellent Dimello (freddo) cappuccino and very delicious mpougatsa and spanakopita (spinat pie-and both home made), while the Arni bistro room, where the breakfast was served was marvelous (also for smokers- there was the possibility to be served outside the hotel on the open air bar on the pedestrian street). Throughout the hotel the WiFi was free and without any problems at all. Summing up I enjoyed and I liked my stay at The Domotel Arni Hotel (with good value for money ) and I would stay again if the opportunity arises.

It is nice. Kept well maintained. Breakfast is really good.

Very cozy and quint hotel in the center. Everything was up to oar and beyond my expectations exept the bed could be more comfortable. Needs a new matress.

the staff were very polite. the rooms were clean. its in the center of a beautiful city. near the hotel there is a gym. Also 3 minutes from where the hotel is located there is this street with the clubs

Θετικά: ωραίο αρχιτεκτονικά, αξιόλογο πρωινό (χωρίς μεγάλη ποικιλία, αν κι εμάς δεν μας πείραξε διόλου), ζεστό νερό ανά πάσα στιγμή, το προσωπικό μονίμως χαμογελαστό και εξυπηρετικό (χρειαστήκαμε εκτάκτως ένα σίδερο για σιδέρωμα και μας παρασχέθηκε αμέσως). Πολύ θετικό επίσης το ότι παρότι βρίσκεται σε πολύ κεντρικό σημείο, έχει πάρκινγκ ακριβώς απ' έξω μόνο για τους πελάτες του ξενοδοχείου φυσικά. Ζεστός χώρος γενικά, καθημερινή φροντίδα δωματίου και αλλαγή πετσετών. Πολύ βασικό αυτό. Αρνητικά: Για τετράστερο, χρήζει ανακαίνισης σε πολλά σημεία, όταν πληρώνεις μάλιστα για 4 βράδια σχεδόν 500€. Το κούφωμα στο μπάνιο (όπως και στο δωμάτιο) ήταν ξύλινο με αποτέλεσμα φυσικά να έχει "σκάσει" από την υγρασία και την παλαιότητα ενώ το πλέξιγκλας - κουρτίνα της μπανιέρας δεν καθόταν στη θέση του. Κάποιες φορές ο νεροχύτης του μπάνιου έσταζε από κάτω. Ο οποίος νεροχύτης ειρήσθω εν παρόδω είχε αντίθετη κλίση και λίμναζαν κάτι λίγα νερά κι έπρεπε να τα σπρώξεις με το χέρι. Όχι κάτι φοβερό αλλά κάποιον ίσως τον πείραζε. Επίσης το σύστημα θέρμανσης είναι πολύ παλιό. Όχι ότι δεν κάνει δουλειά βέβαια. Αλλά αυτό το κάτι σαν κλιματιστικό δαπέδου (δεν ξέρω πώς ονομάζεται) έκανε αρκετό θόρυβο κατά τη λειτουργία του. Το στρώμα το βρήκαμε σκληρό. Το "μπαλκονάκι" δυσλειτουργικό, εντελώς στενό, βέβαια χειμώνας είναι, δεν μας χρειάστηκε κιόλας. Συμπέρασμα: Θα ξαναπήγαινα αλλά μόνο αν δεν έβρισκα κάτι άλλο. Είναι ένας χώρος με πραγματικά ΠΟΛΛΕΣ δυνατότητες αλλά προς το παρόν δεν αξίζει με τίποτα για τα καμμιά 100€ τη βραδιά. Μακάρι να του δοθεί η δέουσα προσοχή.
