Hotel in zona Escape Beach Club, Karavas

Great spot close to the mountain and beach. Green everywhere spotted by the blue of the 5 swimming pools. Massage and spa as well as Turkish bath. Restaurant and bar available. Very friendly receptionists and staff. Rooms are good with amenities, we found that the TV's don't have internet access however HDMI is available and honestly you might not have much time to watch tv. Massage closes around 10 pm Overall a very nice hotel. I recommend it for family visits and I will comeback solo or with friends.

Stayed here for one week in October. The weather was extremely hot during our stay. We arrived early hours of the morning due to a late Easy Jet flight into Larnica then hanging around for our private transfer driver. The journey across the border wasn’t too bad but most of it across open farm land in the pitch black which was quite unnerving. I booked a superior room in the new wing above the restaurant. The room was modern, large & with a small balcony where I sat in the morning with my coffee watching the sun rise. Being at the back of the hotel, there was no issue with noise. We were on a bed & breakfast tariff as eating out in Northern Cyprus is very reasonable. Most of the guests staying here were either frequent returning guests, part of a tour group or only visiting for a few days to Gamble at the ****** next door or for cheap cosmetic surgery! Getting a sun bed around the pool was not an issue and there was a large bar/snack bar where there were plenty of tables and chairs with many in shady spots. The bar staff came around the pool for drinks/snacks orders too. All the staff were helpful and very friendly. You could walk into the old town from this hotel but because of the heat we got a taxi. We did an organised trip to Famagusta and the Ghost Town. We took a taxi to Kyriena castle and a taxi to Belapaise Monastery. All worth doing. Glad I booked this hotel instead of down in the Old Town. Other couples we spoke to that were in hotels down town complained about the constant traffic noise. Plenty of eateries within a short walk but watch out, the pavements are very uneven and a lot are broken too. Unfortunately the harbour area was still closed off due to overrunning completion which was a shame but looked like it was nearly finished.

This was our 3rd holiday to North Cyprus & the Denizkizi, nothing much has changed at the hotel, the gardens, swimming pool are immaculate & well looked after, the beach is lovely & the food at the beach restaurant is great value for money & sooooo tasty. We stayed in the Royal where the rooms were of a good size & very comfortable, Sadia who cleaned our room did a fantastic job & was so lovely, Gonul on the reception was a delight, always willing to help with any query, & always with a smile, so thank you to all staff at the Denizkizi for making our holiday a memorable one.

Le prime impressioni dell’hotel erano grandi. La decorazione di Natale lo faceva sembrare favoloso. Il personale era molto amichevole e attento e non poteva fare abbastanza per noi, anche divertire il mio ragazzo. Eravamo molto felici di rimanere lì. Purtroppo, il nostro soggiorno è stato inciso da due feste notturne tardi (uno era all'Eve del Nuovo Anno così si prevedeva di essere tardi ma non andare oltre 1:00 come ci è stato detto che non sarebbe stato così). Non sembrava che gli ospiti che si trovavano all'hotel fossero considerati come la musica forte che suonava fino a mezzanotte, ma sembrava che la famiglia che gestiva l'azienda la trattasse come se fosse la loro casa e non un hotel con gli ospiti che pagavano. È stato una vergogna che questi incidenti abbiano dovuto sovrapporsi al nostro altrimenti grande soggiorno.

Pros - Location - Spa - Roof top pool - Food Hotel within easy distance to harbour, bars,shops, and local transport. Rooms spacious and very clean. Cons - busy road opposite two petrol stations and traffic heavy all day. Staff on reception not helpful or accommodating. There is no air conditioning and our room on arrival at midnight was 26.5°. We couldn't believe it and had to insist on two fans that we left on permanently all night and the day when we were in the room. Some of the electric sockets and plugs had loose wiring so we had to keep reporting faults. Our main complaint was the heavy smell of petrol that we assumed came from the petrol station. When we phoned reception to request a move to another room we were told there were no more twin bedded rooms available but for what is classified as a five star hotel, I'm sure they could have accommodated us. The stench was overwhelming. Finally after calling in one of the cleaners she indicated it wasn't the petrol stations but the drain in the shower that she would clean out. That evening on returning to the room, the smell had gone. However next morning it started to seep in again. We called in another cleaner and pointed out the stench and showed her the sockets that didn't work. She said leave it to me and that night everything was fixed but we only had two nights left of our holiday. The cleaner's name was Hava and I would like to commend her to the hotel management. Our conversation was done though my translation app and sign language. In spite of everything we enjoyed our stay as the pros outweighed the cons. Would not stay at this hotel again until it is modernised. The summer months must be unbearable.

We went to Korineum for the golf mainly. We had visited previously in September 2018 and loved it. This time we were disappointed with some aspects of our stay. The golf course was fantastic, beautifully kept and well maintained with great practise facilities. The staff at this resort were it's greatest asset. Everybody friendly and helpful, all wanting to help as much as they possibly could from the waiters to the managers. Cleaners to greens staff all had a continuous smile on their faces. The room was large with a sea view, the bathroom was massive with both a bath and a separate shower cubicle. Spotlessly clean and towels changed every day. The disappoin**ent was in the lack of transport to the town and the beach. The hotel is somewhat isolated and to get a taxi to Kyrenia was going to cost about 30 euros each way. The bus to the beach was not scheduled to operate until 10 May. Last time that we visited both buses were running and were a great way of seeing more of the area so we did feel out on a limb. The food in the restaurant was the usual buffet style with little choice of main courses and if we found something that looked ok it was never hot, only ever lukewarm. The breakfast was ok, the egg lady was great, but the bacon was fatty and uneatable so eggs every day. The last time we were there we visited the A la Carte restaurant but that had now closed down. Another disappoin**ent.

Ero stato per una giornata in questo hotel 3 anni fa consigliato da un altro albergatore per fruire della bella spiaggia e dell'acqua parco per mio figlio con un modestissimo bigietto d'ingresso (all'epoca mi sembra 5 euro). Ci aveva colpito la qualità della struttura, soprattutto del servizio l ristorante e così, visto che siamo tornati un0altra volta a Cipro Nord, abbiamo deciso di passarci una settimana. Booking e altri siti lo quotavano per la settimana in mezza pensione (colazione e cena) dai 1700 ai 2500 euro per settimana. Ho allora scritto alla struttura per trattare direttamente e ho ottenuto 1050 euro per 7 notti (140 euro al giorno in mezza pensione 2 adulti e 2 bambini!!!). Hanno preteso solo un anticipo di 50 euro con bonifico internazionale. La qualità dei servizi e della struttura è eccellente, il classico grande albergo ”di una volta”, con spazi comuni, bar, lobbies, spa, bagno turco etc., di altissimo. Il buffet colazione e cena è di buonissima qualità. I prezzi degli extra (bevande diverse dall'acqua ed eventuali spuntini) sono molto contenuti (30 lire turche per una birra, ovvero 1,50 euro; un whisky 70 lire turche, ovvero 3,50 euro). SPiaggia e piscina (enorme) sono stratosferiche e la gentilezza del personale è estrema. Lo consiglierei a chiunque.
