The owners of the hotel killed their 79 guests, 36 of which were kids, in a terrible fire at Grand Kartal Hotel in Bolu Turkey. You read it right: Death due to fire in 2025 Check out if they have any precautions to avoid such a tragedy in Gazelle or much better find somewhere else.

This hotel belongs to the person whose hotel has burnt down to ashes killing at 80 people in Turkey. There wasn't even a smoke or fire alarm. I wouldn't go to his hotels. You can google it typing "Bolu Kartal Hotel Fire" if you are not sure. I hope he will be sent to prison.

I stayed in this hotel with my sisters during Eid Al-Fitr. The hotel is surrounded by forest, so it was a refreshing experience away from polluted city air. I swam in the outdoor swimming pool because indoor pool was full of parents and their little children. Although outdoor pool's water was 4 celsius degrees, it was so relaxing and liberating to swim alone in a big outdoor pool. Then I went to steam room, that is to say sauna, and even my bones were warmed up. However, breakfast and dinner options were below average.

I stayed in this hotel with my sisters during Eid-Al-Fitr. It is an environmental-friendly hotel, which is surrounded by refreshing trees. You can enjoy clean air, swim and chill by indoor or outdoor pool, get some rest and be rejuvenated in sauna. However, breakfast and dinner options were mediocre.

Although I've read some negative comments before I travel, I didn't want to believe in them. We are frequent traveller and we usually don't face the challenges or bad experiences like the others do. However, this hotel has become an exception. The hotel is a beauty is wasted. Hotel is sitting in the middle of the paradise, surrounded by a wonderful forest. Entire facility is designed very well, but not built and not operated in the same way. The worst thing is that you can hear what they speak in the next room. You hear if their phone rings, alarm goes off, or they just walk. Dinner is open buffet, only water is included. If you want to drink a cup of tea, you need to pay extra. We think, owner(s) of the hotel want(s) to earn money at every single opportunity. Food is delicious, except all of them are covered by flies. We also think, owner(s) don't want to invest in the hotel any more, because they even don't buy repelling devices for flies. Flies are everywhere, disgusting, and disturbing. Rooms are free from flies, but all restaurants, including Han Restaurant has millions of them. There's absolutely no entertainment in the evening, no live music, no music, nothing. Not only rooms and restaurants, but also the spa lacks quality... When we received treatment, the room became hot and we asked them to make it little colder. They said it is not possible. During treatment, power has gone out, when it is restored, the treatment room became like a hospital room with bright lights, not a pleasant environment to relax. Although it was a clean hotel, it is not the value for money. It's one of the most expensive hotels in the area. I suggest you stay 40 minutes away (Abant) and drive to Golcuk. Hotels in Abant are more professional.

The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful and the speak English, the lobby is big and has many places to set, they provide the breakfast, afternoon tea and the dinner free, the outdoor area of the hotel is hug , and the experience of the forest is amazing, the have many kind of animals , the spa has many room of therapy ( salt room, grass room, water room plus the sauna room and steam room) also there is the Turkish hammam and massage room , indoor pools (for man and women separately) and 3 outdoor swimming pools, a huge play ground for kids, also there is a cinema.
