Hotel in zona Luzhu Train Station, Kaohsiung

Very clean environment, this is the hotel I stayed every time I come to 高雄 for trip. And their staffs are welcoming and friendly. Very prompt reply and service. Especially the lobby staff Pan and Zhuting. Highly recommended.

We stayed 3 days and were very satisfied with the service! Staff were very courteous as we came in and out of the facilities and when we arrived at our room they had left a little welcome snack pack as I’d mentioned that this trip is a bit of a celebration. The location of the hotel was also very convenient for our travels. The hotel itself is a little old but it’s maintained pretty well, I never felt unsafe or that the hotel itself was unclean, it’s just noticeably an older building. If I’m ever back in Kaohsiung I’d definitely book this hotel again

Having stayed at both Grand Hotels in Taipei and Kaohsiung, the Taipei location is hands down the premier location. The Grand Hotel in Taipei is genuinely a delightful establishment, perhaps my favorite hotel in all of Taiwan. However, the same cannot be said for the Kaohsiung location. It is clearly secondary and even a bit neglected. The hotel and its accommodations are fairly nice but at the same time feel quite outdated. The location is relaxing though, if you want to be able to sit by a pool or on a balcony looking out at a lake. Probably the biggest disappointment of my stay was that I was denied entry to the dinner buffet. People who were not guests at the hotel had already reserved all the seats. Luckily, I was able to secure a seat at a different restaurant in the hotel. I think hotel guests should have priority for seats at the buffet. When I was denied access to the buffet it felt like I was being treated as a second class citizen. “Everyone here has reservations…” the hostess told me. Well… how many of them were actually staying at the hotel? From what I could tell, not many of them were.

Location is great, located in between Formosa Boulevard Station and Kaohsiung station. It's within walkable distance to Liouhe Nightmarket. You can get around the city by Youbike which is very convenient. The staffs were not very friendly but they did their job. Breakfast was not good so I didn't go on my second morning but just to have a coffee. The hotel is clean, it is just quite old, but the room is very spacious.

L'hotel è molto confortevole, anche vicino al mercato notturno di Sei e Sei nella città, vicino alla stazione di trasporto e molto cibo vicino. Dietro il hall c'è un ristorante, 24 ore di fornitura di caffè secco e cibo di ghiaccio, la stanza è anche immune al caffè, e la casa è molto comoda 😌.

Good choice if this is your first visit to the town, located the centre of Kaohsiung, hotel location is very convenient to everywhere, about 5 mins to the closest mrt station. 5 mins to Luo He night market which open until midnight. Hotel staff are also very friendly and helpful as well especially for non-mandarin speaker. And the room is clean and quite spacious . Thank you !

A really nice hotel not far from the main station. The hotel is also very close to the night market. The room is clean and the supplies in the room are quite good.

I’m going to give this place a 7/10 just because the shower pressure was so good. But you guys have to improve on cleanliness! Furnitures are disintegrated and the wifi connection is poor! Breakfast is quite okay.

The hotel location is good. The room is clean, although a bit small, as there is not much space between the bed and the TV. Also, there is not much choices for a vegetarian for the breakfast. Nevertheless, the price performance worth the stay.

Posizione: vicino a MRT e circondato da vari negozi per cibo o negozi rapidi per turisti. Camera: grande dimensione, si ottiene tutto quello che è necessario e bagno è pulito è bene. La pressione dell'acqua è grande, dato che questo è un problema comune per gli edifici più anziani. Ma il letto è piuttosto incomodo, il coperchio è letteralmente solo un pezzo di coperchio che si sente strano tutta la notte. L'insolazione è media, perché si può sentire la gente chiudere la porta e festeggiare la notte. Questo è un hotel di bilancio per cui si ottiene quello che ha pagato.
