SSxoronService was great! Everyone was super polite and there was always someone who was fluent in multiple languages. Very clean. I loved the coed outdoor pool on the upper level as well as the same-sex hot tub and sauna rooms. Best part was the food! I have attached photos of the food I got there (all included for free with executive floor rooms).
Breakfast was amazing! I booked the executive floor room (so basically any room on floors 18-20). Executive rooms comes with breakfast by default even if you don't book one that explicitly includes the breakfast. There's actually 2 options for breakfast. There's the Nikko Room Executive breakfast on the top floor where there's a made to order menu (2 choices/day) as well as a buffet of Hors d'oeuvre style foods. The first day we ordered bruleed banana with pancake and egg and then this crepe thing. I preferred the breakfast on the second floor at the Serena All day Restaurant. Serena Restaurant had Haagen Daz ice cream and a greater variety of foods including choose your fruit juice bar, noodle station, lots of buffet style western and asian food, ham by the slice, they also had a cart they pushed around with Hong Kong style dim sum and also another cart for bread.
Booking the executive floor rooms also gave you afternoon tea (3-5pm) which was Hors d'oeuvres and they had a fridge of drinks including, juice, soda, and beer. One day they had a whole rack of fresh honeycomb that you could slice off and eat.
Executive room also gives you Cocktail hour which you can choose from 2 drinks on the menu that they make for you or there's alcohol on the table you can pour yourself. It's unlimited drinks. There's also Hors d'oeuvres for cocktail hour.
Location is decent. It's quiet but not very close to major attractions. It's close to Costco so we went several times. Trains are about a 10 minute walk away so not that close. Not many nearby attractions but that's more of the layout of KaohSiung, we walked to the train and went to the art pier as well as cijin old street, and the Love's Lookout.

TTraveler with kidsIt is situated rather close to airport, hence a bit far from everything else, especially good food. However is of walking distance to some major Japanese department store.
The main thing of note is the lobby is situated on the 25th floor. One take one lift up to lobby and then another lift to rooms every time.
The rooms were spacious, but the bottom of beds were not vacuum for days. Amenities were minimal and do not reflect on price of room. Electrical sockets were limited and USB sockets don’t work. Many of the decorations in the hotel or the rooms are not suitable for kids. The building itself seems new as many shops at low levels are not open or only at certain times. Hotel staff didn’t mention or introduce the surroundings at all during check-in.
House keeping staff were courteous and hard working. Lobby staff was not friendly. Reception was spent most of the time reminding rules, rather than welcoming. Their lobby bar is a cigar bar and the reminded me they only have expensive whiskey and no wine by the glass. The staff from tea place with the stunning view of the city reminded me they are closing soon. The ground concierge was not welcoming nor helpful except for one girl who nodded every time we enter the building. The pool staff and lobby staff corrected my mandarin a few times.
Lastly, the was an incident at the pool, as I heard a boy stepped on a piece of glass. There was a lot of blood. I cannot comprehend why there was a piece of glass not cleaned by the pool. There are two restaurants by the pool and one of them was a bar.
Overall, it is a nice hotel. But the software is far from up to par or this price.

Location-wise, it’s amazing! Many of the famous restaurants on our “to-go” list were within a 10-minute walking distance, and the subway station was just a quick 3-minute walk away. Super convenient!
We arrived around 9 PM, and check-in was smooth and efficient. They even prepared a thoughtful birthday gift, which showed their kindness and attention to detail.
The room was spacious and perfect, with an air conditioner that was delightfully cold—making every night so comfortable for sleeping. The hotel is connected to a car park in the same building, which was really convenient. On every floor, there’s a drinking water machine offering cold, room-temperature, and hot water options—such a nice touch. There’s also a gym room on the same floor as the breakfast restaurant, which is great if you want to stay active during your stay.
One thing to note is that check-out time is a strict 11 AM. We asked if we could extend it to 12 PM to better align with our flight time, but were politely declined unless we paid an extra 500 TWD. While it would have been nice, it’s totally understandable as it’s their policy.
Overall, it was a great stay, and we’d definitely come back again!

All'esterno dell'edificio sono inoltre presenti auto della polizia in servizio. La stanza è completamente attrezzata. Il capo mi ha fatto in modo di vivere in una stanza comune. Anche se il letto matrimoniale è un po' piccolo, è abbastanza comodo. Il bagno è vecchiotto ma molto pulito. Il capo è molto premuroso e gli oggetti esposti nella stanza sono molto belli. È come tornare a casa propria. Nella stanza c'è un odore di vecchia casa, ma è accettabile. Il capo è molto gentile. La prossima volta che andrò a Kaohsiung per un viaggio di due giorni, tornerò sicuramente a soggiornare qui. È economico, pulito e i trasporti sono comodi.

L'hotel è pulito e conveniente per il traffico. Vicino a molte negozi convenienti e vecchi negozi di supermercato, come barbecue, riso di carne, uova, camminare solo in cinque minuti, La stazione di metropolitana di Golden Metro dove andare a piedi richiede solo due minuti per il mercato notturno di Sei Heng. Even though we got there late, the staff was really nice and helped us check in quickly, so we could get some sleep before leaving early the next morning. What stood out the most was how friendly and helpful everyone was. Plus, we were pleasantly surprised by the shuttle service that took us to and from the airport. It made our trip so much easier and more comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice place to stay.
