THE AMNIS, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Kaohsiung

AVOID this hotel if possible I had a terrible experience during the checkout process. I reserved three rooms for two nights, and the hotel charged a deposit of NT$30,000. It wasn’t until I returned to my home country that I realized the deposit had not been refunded. I sent multiple emails to the hotel, but received no response. Fortunately, I was able to contact the hotel through the Trip.com app, which allowed me to call their local number. The front desk staff were polite, but unfortunately, they couldn’t resolve the issue as it was related to the finance department. The hotel kept giving me vague and unreasonable explanations, claiming that because I used a non-local credit card, the refund would take 14 working days. This is, frankly, outrageous. Holding someone’s credit without clear consent or proper communication is unacceptable. Even worse, no one at the hotel could confirm the current status of my refund when I asked. Clearly a disappointment.

Spacious room, comfortable bed linen, nice breakfast and friendly staff, can’t complain anymore!

What a wonderful stay! The room was spacious, the view was spectacular, the staff were friendly and attentive, and breakfast was top-notch. Would absolutely stay here again!

It is very clean and roomy. Very comfortable stay and highly recommended.

Everything over expected, just the breakfast was a bit small portion, it will be perfect if change to buffet style!

I would say this is an upper 5 stars hotel and every detail at a high standard. I highly recommend it for business trips or celebrating an anniversary or memorable events
