Hotel in zona Daodeyuan, Kaohsiung

Really glad i picked this hotel to stay in Kaohsiung! It is near Kaohsiung main station (a big part of the station is under renovation as of August 2024 so the walk from the station is longer as we have to walk a larger loop compared to just walking straight out to the hotel - the hotel faces the main station directly btw). Nonetheless the hotel room is clean and spacious. The bed is larger than what I thought (feels more like a king bed for a double bed!) so that’s a huge plus. The hotel staff were really friendly and kind (living up to the hotel’s name), and we have access to the lounge area which includes free drinks and ice cream + some small snacks! I think these little things really add up to make the stay very pleasant! I would want to come back here next time I’m back in Kaohsiung!

I like breakfast it has a wide variety of choices.The rooms are small but comfortable.I just hope they still put a tooth brush and toothpaste for free. The staff are friendly and efficient. The location is perfect for going around and easy access to the train station and Uber. The Rent Car is also just beside the hotel. Near Mc Donald's, KFC and 7-11. Thanks.Airline Inn.

It was first bad hotel experience booking thru trip.com. Traveled with 2 kids under 13. We drove to Kaoshiung from Taipei. Arrived late night. There's no parking lot provided but have to park somewhere 3 walk at a opposite the hotel. Paid TWD100 per entry on the following day before leaving. The hotel looks good at the public areas, except our room. We were given a room at 6th floor. It looks like under construction and no other guests were staying on that floor. If we were not 4 together, I dare not stay alone. What was disappointed was the room is very very old. Everything old style. The carpet is dirty. We have to wear the paper slippers (the worst hotel slipperstgat I had ever seen) to walk on the carpet. We tried to push a bed to the side to the wall, but the floor under the bed is very dirty, even found a plastic slipper (not a pair). We guessed it was left by the previous guest and the room was not totally cleaned. We quickly put the bed back. The shower pipe also not very well working and weak power water. Quite disappointed. 2 Good points: 1. The hotel is near to the night market: It's just 3~5 mins walk from hotel. 2. The breakfast was quite good.

Camera per sei persone Molto pulita. Il giorno del check-in il personale di servizio confermerà l'orario del check-in. Ho acceso il condizionatore in anticipo, quindi una volta entrato nella stanza, il livello di comfort generale è aumentato. Davanti al bancone sono presenti biscotti, bustine di tè, bustine di caffè e distributori di acqua a disposizione degli ospiti. Anche se non esiste un parcheggio cooperativo Ci sono comunque molti parcheggi a pagamento nelle vicinanze dove è possibile parcheggiare. La posizione è al punto di partenza del mercato notturno di Liuhe. ㄧPuoi andare a fare shopping proprio di sotto C'è un negozio per la colazione di fronte all'hotel. È a soli 3 minuti a piedi dalla stazione MRT di Melit Island.

Spacious room and good housekeeping. I chose a room with window so have good day light, can see the Main Street and watch the Tai wan style traffic xD. Bed is comfy and shower was great. Air conditioning was good but a bit loud. Staff are helpful and friendly. There’s complementary snacks every day for guests at the lobby too. Very thoughtful.

Walking distance from Houyi station (there's 3 bubble tea shops along the way). One thing to note: nearest exit (exit 3) have escalators going upwards only, need to walk to a further exit with a lift (exit 2). Room wasn't very clean, TV remote control was so dusty. Hotel breakfast was meh, disappointing.

Grande vista, buona posizione e vicino a un centro commerciale (centro di cielo elettronico) con supermercato e corte alimentare. Concierge e personale di custodia casa erano i più utili e amichevoli. Aveva sempre un sorriso, gentile e ansioso di aiutare. Il peggiore era il salotto esecutivo e il desk front, la linea di frontiera era ruda. Il loro salotto (11/f) ha raccolto un taglio di torta di compleanno (NT$500), anche quando siamo ospiti dell'hotel. Il desk front mi ha ricordato diverse volte di un onere aggiuntivo se si verifica tardi. Il caffè del lobby non sa cosa sia piatto bianco e non aveva intenzione di scoprire cosa sia. Io ritengo che il loro affare sia troppo buono e non si preoccupi dell'ospitalità.

Location very good. Walking distance to night market. Very Convenient. Definitely will stay there again when we plan to go there again.

The place is very affordable, accessible and easy to find. The staffs are very friendly and approachable. I love the cozy vibes and the swimming pool at rooftop is lit🔥. Slay✨! There is a nearby tourist night market and the train station is just a few minutes walk away. I also love the vegetable salad and other food served at the hotel’s free breakfast. I would highly recommend this place and definitely wanna come back 😉

Front desk staff are super professional and helpful, particularly Ms Wu and Mr Wang, very efficient service even in the middle of the night, when ceiling has water dripping.  Very comfortable seating area in lobby with 24 hours coffee, tea and hot water.  There’s no heating, the room can get quite cold near ***** new year time.  Very close to 六合夜市 night market and Formosa subway station. Good value for the money paid.
