Travelled alone for a short stay. I have checked into a nature heaven. Stands high with its location, amenities, food, rooms and hospitality. From welcoming, escorting to rooms, dining experience and experiential activities no words. Great thanks to Mr. Purushotham’s team.

Anantya by Lake is a very quiet, beautiful,nature resort.The healthy food(used only very less oil) yummy, the friendly service, ambiance,decor,the activities, evening tea experience and everything exceeded my expectations.Under the able leadership of Shri Purushotham GM,Siva Prasad F&B,Suresh Kumar,Chef Nidieesh, Aadarsh, Activities coordinator,Alfa from Front Office and the entire team members are doing a fantastic job.l would like to stay again in this beautiful property and would like to recommend to my friends, relatives and guests.You will be pampered and l am very sure you will have a very memorable time

Anantya is a magical place. Nestled amongst the trees and set on the serene Chittar Lake, we felt a sense of calm once we drove into the beautifully landscaped compound. The rustic nature of the surrounding environment aids the feeling of getting away, while the staff were genuinely interested in attending to our needs. The food at the restaurant was exceptional, featuring many Kerala-based recipes packed with fresh spices and herbs. I highly recommend the tour of the rubber tree plantation, the ayurvedic massage offerings, and dips in the infinity pool. You will be very happy that you visited.

Although the environment and landscape was familiar to me ( living in Kerala) , the cottage was spacious , neat and homely. The best part was the spectacular lake view from the room and the restaurant. The Restaurant was a good place to be and experience the good spread of breakfast - both South Indian and Continental. The Chef was friendly and approachable and could address some personal food allergy issues .

I recently stayed at Anantaya By Lake Resort with my family this July, and we had an exceptional experience. The property is beautifully maintained, and the food was superb. The staff, particularly the restaurant staff, were incredibly attentive and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. The resort offers a superb view of the lake and the mountains, with the lake itself being neatly maintained. There's also a huge space for kids to play and enjoy their time. The only area for improvement would be to replace the bicycles with new ones, as most of them were difficult to ride and rusted. Highly recommend this resort for a relaxing family getaway. A lovely resort tucked away by the lake on the borders of Kerala and Tamilnadu. this was recommended by friends and we had a fantastic time. the food, ambience and all the facilities were second to none. We met the owner and his family and it was nice tom hear his future plans which included opening a yoga centre. the speciality fish was a tad more expensive from the other items but all in all a stay well worth it.

I stayed in Anantya in 2013 when the property was still under construction & not many heard about it. My second stay there was after 11 years in June 2024 when it is a much talk about place. Anantya is a typical example for how greediness can kill hospitality. After charging 14K for room alone for a one night stay, you be ready to see the worst facilities. Restaurant & pool are heavily crowded during operating hours. The room service is nil. They kept one packet of tea bag in Sidhi Villa with one coffee packet. It is not that we are gonna use some 10 packets, but mind you are running a luxury resort. Even medium hotels who charges, 3000 per night will give you at least 2 tea bags. No moisturiser, conditioner, shampoo. One soap bar which you will be afraid to touch is all they keep. Closets are stained & stinky. Outside Bathroom is not clean, the staffs doesn’t know how to smile (not blaming them, I can imagine how they must be treated when guests are treated in this way). The reception area will have 1 staff mostly. He will be damn occupied in one or other. Nobody will greet or smile or ask why the hell you are there! The broken glasses near the restaurant area will remain as such even after a night. Their own property visit is chargeable! Even if you go in your own vehicle to their Vaikundam plantation, you need to pay 400 or 500 per head! As if you are going to harvest gold from there! Way too much. 14K you are taking for 2 people for a night, wouldn’t suffice to step in to your rubber plantation? How rude this is! Exactly at 12 noon, people will come & knock your door asking when you will check out! I have never faced this anywhere. Stay out of the property is the best advice I have. It is not even worthy of 5K. The natural beauty of the place where your resort located is the only plus you have & that’s why it is still attracting people. But sheer lack of hospitality will not help you to run with a luxury logo for more time! How I wish I could enjoy that natural beauty with people who feel good to have us there!!!

A Few Considerations: Remote Location: While perfect for serenity seekers, the resort's distance from the main city and airport might be a factor for some travelers. Overall Impression: Anantya Resorts is a gem for those seeking a tranquil escape in nature. It offers a blend of comfortable accommodations, delicious food, engaging activities, and exceptional service. If you prioritize peace and quiet, this resort is a strong contender for your relaxation haven.

One of the best lakeside resorts with excellent rooms offering stunning lake views is Anantya. We stayed in the Chakra cottage, and the rooms were super clean and spacious. The services provided by the housekeeping, receptionist, and food and beverage teams were excellent. Although the food was a bit expensive, the taste was extremely good. The candlelight dinner arranged by the poolside with a lake view was exceptional. Thank you, Anantya, and the team for your outstanding service.
