We decided to travel during the monsoon and didn’t expect much from this trip. Our stay was made truly memorable by the hotel staff (each one of them was amazing and exceeded expectations). ‘great service, amazing food, breathtaking view, lovely nature walk and feeling of being welcomed by everyone’. Must visit and definitely on my repeat list. Thank you Front office team, Chef, Restaurant team, housekeeping staff, security and everyone for making our stay memorable and exceptional. I really admire your passion towards guests, love for the city and the sense of belonging!!

Our recent stay at Taj Norbu the Montana was a paradox - breathtaking mountain views and extraordinary culinary experiences amidst a backdrop of neglect and apathy. The food was a highlight, with all our meals showcasing the chefs' creativity and passion. However, the service staff seemed completely disengaged, with minimal interaction and a general air of indifference. The property itself showed signs of poor maintenance, with worn-out fixtures and unclean surroundings. Despite this, the serene views from my room were a constant source of comfort. The front-of-house staff were notably absent, with no effort made to engage with guests or offer assistance. In contrast, the chefs were warm and welcoming, taking pride in their creations. While our stay was marred by service issues and neglect, the exceptional food and stunning views might just tempt us back. With some attention to detail, focus on staff training, property maintenance and enhancing the guest experience to match the culinary excellence, this hotel could truly shine.

My husband and I, both in our golden years, recently stayed at Taj Norbu and had a wonderful experience. The staff were warm, caring, and attentive to our needs. The rooms were comfortable, and the food was exceptional - specially prepared to cater to our dietary requirements. The hotel's serene surroundings and ambiance made it the perfect getaway from the city. The chef's attention to detail was impressive, preparing special dishes that catered to our needs. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of options, and the quality of food was exceptional. Their commitment to our safety and comfort made our stay truly enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Taj Norbu to fellow seniors and travelers alike especially with food allergies or dietary restrictions.

A one of a kind experience till date, the resort itself is picturesque, amazing beauty. We travelled at the very begining of monsoon and we experienced the lush greenery with the beauty of mountains. What an amazing experience. But to top it up this hotel serves the best kind of food, we travelled at least 7 Taj hotels across India and other hotels too, but never seen so much friendly staff, specially chef anirban and hteshwar. Spending so much time with the guests and explaining everything. Even chef anirban suggested a few places for travel and it came out better than suggested from Google. Their food is a class apart. The taste, the presentation and the experience. Chefs are always ready to serve you something new, asking from time to time in a single meal whether we are liking it or not, this kind of personalized service is rare to see. At one time of breakfast one of my order got delayed, and we were in a hurry, it was a rush hour, service persons were busy so upon informing anirban he just rushed and got that to our table. We were surprised and overwhelmed too. I would really really like to draw managements attention to this. The rooms are spacious, though you may encounter few bugs but that's normal in open to nature property like this.Also I will suggest everyone not to skip their breakfast, it's more of a surprise every day. The sandwiches, waffles, panacakes and local offerings we really really liked a lot. Thank you chef anirban, chef hteshwar for making our stay so much memorable. Will see you again.

The property is fairly nice. Managed by property owners I believe under IHCL banner. Limited staff but very well efficient. Our stay was made very comfortable by them. Special mention, Angel, Anjali and this lovely boy Thakur from Mandi. Good food by Chef Anirban. Little away from cities buzz, and very peaceful. Would suggest more in house activities and live music.

I think this place is all about Food food and comfort food only They have a array of breakfast prep that is likely mostly consumed and preferred by us and the locals are like to die for. Amazing locals prep served during breakfast, their food is real gem. Rest they have a very good staffs but I think they should work a little on their training. Chef anirban is an amazing person, always taking care, all our meals in dinner were amazing, we had one dinner planned with Radisson blue dshala, believe me thier food sucks, salty, spicy no preferences taken care, we were so much irritated that we came back hotel and asked chef anirban to cook for us, ahh that felt like Haven. Thank you chef and rajesh for that ama

I recently had the most memorable stay at Norbu The Montanna, and what truly elevated the experience—beyond the breathtaking views—was the exceptional food and the heartfelt hospitality that came with it. Every day brought something delicious to the table, quite literally. Chef Anirban and his team were absolutely incredible—not only did he whip up amazing meals daily, but he went out of his way to connect with us through food. Being Bengali, we were overjoyed when he surprised us with home-style dishes like Luchi and authentic Bengali style Biryani, made specially just for us. It felt like a piece of home in the middle of the mountains. To top it all, he curated a stunning Course ******* meal that was as authentic as it was flavorful. Each dish was carefully prepared, and the spread was a journey in itself—an absolute highlight of our trip. More than just great food, it was the personal touch, the effort to make us feel truly welcome, that made this stay really special. We left with full hearts and even fuller stomachs! Highly recommend this place for anyone who wants not just a stay, but an experience!

Words will fall less but not the experience provided by them, Beautiful property, super amazing staff and best food around, take any hotel for the same category and they are goung to stand out in terms of food. Chef anirban and his team works flawlessly every day to serve something that is impeccable and spot on. With a never ending smile. Breakfast buffet is fresh , amazing local choices and everyday the taste is to the point. With everything almost is made to order The food served in breakfast really needs a voice, and their morning bakery is wow still it's egg less, it's best and i don't think other hotels around are doing even half of this much as my friend also was staying in a good named nearby hotel. Amazing food and staff behaviour is closest to the heart. Thank you
