Sri Rams Residency was surprisingly nice and not what “residency” often connotes for Indian hotels. The room was very clean, spacious and well appointed with an equally nice bathroom. It’s conveniently located for visiting temples although only one temple is within easy walking distance of the hotel. It does not have a restaurant but there are several within walking distance. Definitely well worth staying here.

Rooms are very neat and clean. Staff very cordial in their behavior. No proper ventilation in the room There is a window facing a building about 4 ft away ..parking of cars is problem as basement parking can at best accommodate 4 cars. and the area in front of the hotel can hold 3 cars but as the vegetarian restaurant UPASANA is very popular and so you may get parking only at night. Complimentary breakfast is not there if you book online. Room service is very prompt and they serve excellent vegetarian food. Centrally located and good for a day/s stay.

This feedback is based on my family trip to Mahabalipuram and stay at Oceanside hotel between 27/Dec/21 to 30/Dec/21. I booked two AC Queen bedrooms. My overall experience is definitely excellent. But I wanted to be more specific in my feedback! Hence, few points on why I felt my stay in this hotel was so great! 1. Rooms: We stayed in two adjacent AC Queen bedrooms on the 1st floor of the hotel. Both the rooms were very clean; everything was in the right order. Very comfortable stay! 2. Cleanliness of Bathrooms: (deliberately making this as a separate point!) To be honest, I am a bit skeptical about the cleanliness and hygiene of the bathrooms. But I must confess, the hotel bathrooms were so well maintained, which was beyond my expectations. 3. Hotel staff: A very important point, the staff members in the hotel are extremely courteous and friendly. Especially the owner (Yuvanesh) is so helpful, caring – always ready to assist. A perfect gentleman! 4. The Beach: From the back gate of the Hotel, the Beach is literally 1-2 mins of walk (~100-150 meters)! It is indeed that close!! 5. Car Parking: I drove from Bangalore to Mahabalipuram. There are many hotels that do not have their own car parking, and hence tourists staying in those hotels have to park cars on roadsides, which may not be a good / safe option. This hotel has its own secured parking space, which is definitely a plus! 6. Room accessories: Rooms are quite well decorated. Few essential accessories are also available, such as - Electric kettle, free Wi-Fi, Fridge access in the common area, Cutlery set for dining on request, availability of 24 hours hot water etc. etc. 7. Location: All the tourists’ spots (Shore temple, Lighthouse, Krishna butter ball stone etc. etc.) are all within walking distance from the hotel. Though I took a local Auto for a half-day trip covering those spots. 8. Food junctions: There are plenty of restaurants all around the places, within 50 to 500 meters range. The tariff offered by the hotel was very decent and it was definitely a value for the money!! I would surely recommend this hotel, especially for a family stay. I would suggest calling the hotel owner (Yuvanesh) before you book, so he can recommend / arrange rooms as per your requirement.

PPraveenKrishnaI highly recommend this place for families with children. The location is excellent and the ambience is extraordinary. The resort's theme is Rajasthani and is very well-maintained. The hospitality and food are good, although there are a lot of flies, which can be a bit bothersome. The resort has a swimming pool suitable for children of all ages, but please be cautious as the pool area can get slippery. The resort also offers daily programs which are posted near the reception area to keep everyone entertained. It's not just a place to stay for the night, but a great spot to spend quality time with your family and relax.

TV non funzionava - Relativamente alla ricezione che non ha preso alcuna azione. Dal lato positivo, il cibo era buono e la maggior parte del personale era amichevole - anche se alcuni potevano fare con la formazione di base di servizio clienti. Non rimarranno qui.

UUtente ospiteLoved the stay. Staff and service are excellent and reliably great. The location is right in the middle of the town in a main thorough fare, in close proximity to the Temples for those who visit on a pilgrimage to Kanchipuram. The access to the location though, as also visibility from the road leaves room for improvement. Food was delicious and great, and the free breakfast had an elaborate big spread. The courtesy of the staff who are always checking up on you and asking you how's your stay and dining experience deserves a special mention. All in all, a great facility to have in Kanchipuram that makes staying there comfortable and worry free.

Il primo pasto non era una buona esperienza, ma era ben gestito e il cuoco preparava un bel pasto la notte dopo e il pastore era molto attento.
Localizzazione e ubicazione non possono essere mancanti è stato molto rilassante e la spiaggia è stata deserta!
Tornerà per un soggiorno più lungo la prossima volta e esplorerà le aree circostanti.

After our pathetic stay in Annamalai International Hotel in Puducherry (please read my review in tripadvisor) we get fresh air in this hotel. We were 3 (2 adult +1 child) and booked a Suite. It was very spacious with 2 double bed, 2 AC, 1 sofa set, 1 table, 1 cupboard, 1 TV. There was a 6 ft mirror in bathroom. Overall very good. It had a homely vibe. We felt very comfortable cannot explain why. That was the vibe. They did not have hindi channels in TV. As we requested immediately they made arrangements & took subscription. We were very happy. This is called customer friendly. Again when we asked them to arrange cab for Chennai airport they suggested to book OLA as it will be cheaper & will be available within 2 min. They told ”if we call cab they charge Rs200 extra”. We are totally impressed by their behaviour. Two things I did not like: 1) The swimming pool is just at the entrance. It feels very awkward. Whoever enters the hotel can see people bathing. 2) The toiletries provided were very basic (clinic plus, lifebuoy...) 3) For suite room they didnt provide electric kettle, tea, coffee pouch etc. These are to be improved. In spite of this I would recommend this hotel as it is very good, considering the price they offer

La decorazione è tenuta pulita nelle vicinanze. L'hotel è in posizione privilegiata: vicino alla stazione di bus mahabalipuram, vicino alla spiaggia (circa 500 mt. La reception dispone di una decorazione semplice e autentica con il piccolo tempio di Lord Ganesha accanto. In generale, un ottimo soggiorno con prezzi accessibili (cortile personale aggiunge un'altra stella ai loro rating.
