Fantastic hotel with spacious rooms and very friendly staff. We chose Nikko Kanazawa because of its proximity to the train station. Hotel Nikko is actually Kanazawa’s tallest building, designed by a Japanese-French team. Rooms located on 21st-25th floors have beautiful views. Nikko is connected to the Higashi ( eastern) side of the station by the underground passageway through the Porter building. Our room at the 21st floor was large, clean and modern with a fantastic view over the city towards the Sea of Japan. It was very relaxing at the end of the day to sit in arm chairs and watch the sunset. Service was excellent. We found a good restaurant on the sixth floor of the Forus shopping center adjacent to the train station (on the right if you look at the eastern entrance to the station through the giant Torii gate). The name is Morimorizushi Kanazawa Ekimae-ten (sushi), you can't miss it - there will be people on the benches waiting outside. The line goes fast, just don't forget to take your ticket at the entrance. This hi-tech kaiten (conveyor belt) sushi joint is a fantastic place for excellent sushi at reasonable price. It is only 4-5 min. from Hotel Nikko and on rainy day you can reach it by the underground passage. We liked Hotel Nikko and would stay here again.

Erica, il concierge, è stato particolarmente utile prenotare ristoranti per entrambe le notti (Italiano e Tempura, su nostra richiesta). È stata in visita con i ristoranti, interpretando le nostre richieste in entrambe le occasioni, non è la prima volta che siamo rimasti qui, e non esitaremmo a raccomandare questo posto a nessun visitatore di Kanazawa, che vendono comfort, sicurezza e valore.

My family (2 kids) stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and really enjoyed the city as well as the hotel. I will start with the positives. We stayed at a one bedroom suite with laundry machines which is very convenient and by far the largest hotel room we stayed in Japan. Our kids slept comfortably in the living room on the sofa. The kitchen is very well designed with a huge fridge and sitting areas. The front desk was very helpful in my trip planning with onsen suggestions and they also booked us kimono rental and restaurants after we checked in. The lobby is spacious and we enjoyed our complimentary breakfast. The location is very conveient being right by the JR station and a big shopping mall. I only have 2 minor issues. First, they weren't willing to make us dinner reservations before check in which seems to be an overal issue with Japan hotels. Second, the breakfast offering is way better at Hyatt Centric, the sister hotel next door and is connected at the lobby area. however, we were turned away when we tried to get breakfast at Hyatt Centric even though some prior reviews said they wre able to do that.

Ci piace molto questo hotel! Era il miglior hotel in tutta la nostra gita. Situato vicino alla stazione ferroviaria ma sul lato più tranquillo. Ci sono stati molti centri intorno, quindi non c'è mancanza di opzioni alimentari. La stanza era spaziale e ben decorata con tutte le attrazioni. Le letti e il letto di notte erano comodi. I loro scarpe da letto erano in gomma e il bagno aveva sia doccia che bagno. La zona di immersione vanita aveva porte di scivolo per poter cambiare con privacy. Il WC era un'unità separata.

The hotel definitely feels a bit old and tired, but it's still very clean and comfortable with excellent service. I was upgraded to what was essentially a junior suite due to my status and found the room to be very spacious and comfortable. The pillows were too soft for my taste but luckily there was a harder pillow in the closest. The toilet has an automatic bidet which will raise the lid as you get near it and then automatically flush (fancy!). Every morning the staff would also provide newspapers, which I thought was really old school. Location-wise this hotel can't be beat. You're literally right next to Kanazawa Station which gives you easy transportation access and also puts you close to dining options. There are a lot of malls around the station with good restaurants and shops. There's also a large 711 just a few steps away. The only gripe I had about the room was that I found the sink area to be a bit too small and there was little space for me to put my toiletries.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for four nights. The hotel is a bit of a trek from the train station, if you are walking with luggage, but the location can’t be beat for access to the two big sites in Kanazawa, the Castle and Kenrokuen. The front desk staff at the hotel were lovely. They were very well prepared and it was very nice to have staff that spoke English (although we could have muddled through with broken Japanese). They were prompt in getting us checked in and very helpful with their explanations of where things were situated in the hotel Our room was fine. Enough space for the two of us. There was some stains on the carpet, but other than that the room was immaculately clean. My one complaint about the room was the pillows. They were so hard. We find that most Japanese hotels offer very hard pillows and it makes for uncomfortable stiff necks in the morning. If there had been some nice fluffy pillows it would have been great We had a kaiseki dinner at the hotel’s restaurant one evening. It was excellent. The food was prepared and presented in a traditional fashion. The service was bar none and the food was delicious My only other complaint about the hotel was with regard to breakfast, and it was only one of the mornings. There are a lot of rules in place right now due to Covid and we were more than happy to follow the rules during breakfast to ensure everyone’s safety. However, on the Saturday morning we were there, it was busy and several other patrons did not feel the need to properly mask or wear the gloves that were offered, when at the buffet. There was one family in particular that had no masks, no gloves and were coughing and sneezing, as well as one other woman who did not wear gloves or a mask. As it was busy we could not grab the attention of the manager to inform him of their flagrant disregard for the “rules”. We opted to leave our breakfasts half eaten in order to preserve our health. The other three mornings we enjoyed breakfast without issue and everyone following the rules

近江町市場からすぐ。 ファミマも近い。全国支援の斜面などでチェックインは時間がかかる。 特に荷物を預けている人の受け取りとチェックインが重なると、並んでいても順番がぐちゃぐちゃになる。 できればチェックイン時間前に荷物を預ける際に、チェックインの書くものや説明することを終わらしてから、外出してもらうだけで、戻ってきた時に鍵と荷物を預かればチェックインがスムーズになる。また、荷物受け渡しのレーンと呼び鈴をつければチェックインアウトと荷物の受け預けが重ならないのでいいと思います。 ホテルは新しく綺麗。 客室は、広め。トイレとシャワールームが分かれているのがいい。 暖房の効きがよくベットの寝心地も熟睡でき問題なし。 コンセントが多く使いやすい。 ベットサイドに室内の電気コントロールがあるがいい。 収納スペースが多いのがよく、 ミネラルウォーターも無料でついている マイナス点は 洗面所のお湯の湯量が少なく使いづらい。 ハンガーラックスペースがシングル利用ならいいが、ダブルだと狭くて使いづらい。 お風呂に行くための外履きが欲しい。 1番辛かったのは、 ワーキングデスクに椅子がないので、仕事でパソコンや書き物をするときに使いずらい。デスクがあるのになぜ椅子がないのか？ 冷蔵庫の冷えが弱い。 タブレットのリモンコン反応が悪く使えない。 大浴場は露天風呂もあり気持ちよく体全体が温まるし、サウナもある 一部ロッカーの鍵が壊れていて、鍵を閉めようとすると鍵が抜ける。2箇所ほど同じ現象のロッカーがあり。開け閉めに苦労した。 朝食は洋食スタイルで、パンに合うものが多い。金沢といえば海鮮だから和食が飽きる人もいるので洋食はいいと思う。内容は良いと思います。課題は連泊だと内容が変わらず飽きること。

La stanza è molto pulita, dispone di strutture complete e molto spaziose rispetto ad altri hotel che abbiamo soggiornato. È a 5-10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione JR kanazawa, ed è super conveniente per un ultimo minuto di prenotazione da quando eravamo 20 minuti. Fornisce tutti i kit di base e ha una casa di bagno pubblica che mi è piaciuto di immersione in una piscina calda.

Vivo nella presentazione della mia azienda nel 2013.E'vicina al mercato del carbone e al traffico conveniente, quindi l'ho usato da allora.La reception e il pavimento pulito sono anche buone. Ci sono 7－ 11 vicino all'hotel.C'è un parcheggio dietro l'hotel che può ospitare sei auto.Se il parcheggio è pieno, posso usare un parcheggio multistrato dietro Meittesu Mza.Quando ho colazione, ho mangiato in un ristorante italiano al primo piano. Produrranno anche tre elementi originali di Lysorka.Questa è la prima volta che lo usano negli ultimi tre anni, quindi tutti i punti sono scomparsi, ma hanno aggiunto nuovi punti e aggiornato.Voglio che lo usino di nuovo l'anno prossimo.

Camminare circa sette minuti dalla stazione JR Jinze.Passare attraverso il cancello sotterraneo della stazione West Point, camminare direttamente sul retro della stazione, salire le scale, e poi camminare direttamente, troverai l'hotel a sinistra.Potrebbe essere un po'difficile nel giorno della pioggia.C'è circa 7-11 accanto alle due case. Secondo me, sembra che il ristorante sia raramente, quindi è situato in una stazione o in un'uscita est.L'hotel è molto pulito, puoi immagazzinare il bagaglio prima di gestire le procedure di soggiorno.Le procedure di soggiorno sono molto semplici e la comunicazione è anche buona. Quando si preme il cappuccio, l'ascensore preme automaticamente il pulsante sul pavimento della stanza.Il cappuccio entra nella stanza e entra nella piscina pubblica la mattina.La stanza è monolocale, ma il letto è molto grande, posso dormire lentamente. Forse perché in questo momento l'aria condizionata è solo riscaldamento e aria condizionata. Our room was quite comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is excellent. I would have given it 5 stars except for two things. The color and decor of our room was rather dark and drab, making it feel a little depressing. Although they have excellent cotton pajamas! The biggest problem we had with the hotel was the with the front desk man. He was extremely rude. We were unaware upon arrival that our booking had been mistakenly cancelled by bookings.com. He first accused us of cancelling the two night booking, which we hadn't. We apologized for any misunderstanding and asked if we could rent a room anyway. First he said that there were no rooms. Then he said we could have a room for one night only, but the second night was sold out. When we pressed him a little further, he got bookings.com on the line, talked to them for a few minutes, then handed the phone to us. They said the hotel had the same room for two nights that we had booked originally. The manager agreed to rent it to us. It was quite an ordeal he put us through and it left a very bad impression on us. I also wouldn't recommend the breakfast, so if you do decide to stay here (again excellent location and comfortable room) go somewhere else for breakfast.

Sono grato e ricorderò tutti con sorriso e caldo sentimento. Inoltre devo dire che c’è qualcosa di speciale nell’atmosfera della strada Tatemachi, la sua speciale, qualcosa di magico nell’atmosfera. Non si lamenterà se si sceglie di rimanere lì. Penso anche che Kanazawa e Kaname Inn meritano di essere sostenuti durante i tempi di Covid. Kaname Inn è un'azienda privata, dove la squadra lavora duramente per essere migliori ogni giorno. Gli ospiti sono trattati con un approccio personale su base di nome. We had dinner at Atsushi on our first night in Kanazawa and I have to say the meal was outstanding. I’ve eaten a lot of sashimi and sushi in my time, but even so, the quality, flavours, and attention to detail by Feodor and Atsushi puts it up with my favourite meals ever. Mrs Ex-Punk and myself shared a Crab Miso soup and a sashimi plate as starters, both of which were delicious. We followed these with three sushi plates - Green Tiger Rolls (prawn tempura, avocado, cucumber and spicy tuna), Spider Rolls (crispy fried soft shelled crab, flying fish roe, cucumber, mayo) , and Spicy Tuna Scallop Rolls (Spicy tuna, scallop, chilli). The portions were generous, so we paced ourselves, which also meant that the delicious flavours stayed on our palates a little longer. The wines by the glass available perfectly complemented the wonderful food. The restaurant is beautifully designed to complement the lovely old building it is in, which is in a quiet backstreet right next to the castle and Kenroku-en Garden. Co-owner Feodor was delightful throughout and even helped us improve our colloquial Japanese. So all we can say is arigatō gozaimasu.

Se si tratta di una difetta, il tipo di camera di quattro persone selezionato è molto piccolo, non c'è molto spazio per aprire la valigia, e il posto di Jinze non è chiuso come molti negozi a Tokyo a basso punto. Se si va, dovrai andare presto a salvare la valigia prima di giocare (lezione del sangue)

L'hotel è piccolo e confortevole (in un buon modo). L'hotel e le sue camere sono pulite. La mia camera, anche se piccola, aveva tutte le strutture che potevo avere - bagno/toiletta, TV (con accesso a Youtube), asciugacapelli, asciugamani, pigiama, mutandine, ecc. La posizione dell'hotel è eccellente per visitare il mercato dei pesci Omicho, il campo del castello e i giardini, e a pochi passi dai due quartieri Chaya.

近江町市場からすぐ。 ファミマも近い。全国支援の斜面などでチェックインは時間がかかる。 特に荷物を預けている人の受け取りとチェックインが重なると、並んでいても順番がぐちゃぐちゃになる。 できればチェックイン時間前に荷物を預ける際に、チェックインの書くものや説明することを終わらしてから、外出してもらうだけで、戻ってきた時に鍵と荷物を預かればチェックインがスムーズになる。また、荷物受け渡しのレーンと呼び鈴をつければチェックインアウトと荷物の受け預けが重ならないのでいいと思います。 ホテルは新しく綺麗。 客室は、広め。トイレとシャワールームが分かれているのがいい。 暖房の効きがよくベットの寝心地も熟睡でき問題なし。 コンセントが多く使いやすい。 ベットサイドに室内の電気コントロールがあるがいい。 収納スペースが多いのがよく、 ミネラルウォーターも無料でついている マイナス点は 洗面所のお湯の湯量が少なく使いづらい。 ハンガーラックスペースがシングル利用ならいいが、ダブルだと狭くて使いづらい。 お風呂に行くための外履きが欲しい。 1番辛かったのは、 ワーキングデスクに椅子がないので、仕事でパソコンや書き物をするときに使いずらい。デスクがあるのになぜ椅子がないのか？ 冷蔵庫の冷えが弱い。 タブレットのリモンコン反応が悪く使えない。 大浴場は露天風呂もあり気持ちよく体全体が温まるし、サウナもある 一部ロッカーの鍵が壊れていて、鍵を閉めようとすると鍵が抜ける。2箇所ほど同じ現象のロッカーがあり。開け閉めに苦労した。 朝食は洋食スタイルで、パンに合うものが多い。金沢といえば海鮮だから和食が飽きる人もいるので洋食はいいと思う。内容は良いと思います。課題は連泊だと内容が変わらず飽きること。

Siamo stati accolti all’ingresso da uno staff cordiale e amichevole che ci ha fatto subito sentire a “casa”. Dopo averci offerto una buonissima birra locale ed assegnato le camere la ragazza che ci ha ricevuto si è dimostrata molto simpatica e gentile spiegandoci i maggiori punti di interesse della zona e consigliandoci alcuni ottimi ristoranti. Per quanto riguarda l’alloggio, che dire…. Una vera meraviglia!!! La perfetta unione tra modernità e tradizione, in un ambiente accogliente potrete trovare i comfort del presente (smart TV, wi-fi, caldaia smart, microonde, lavatrice e molto altro) e le stupende usanze del passato. Legno, tatami e sughero adornano tutte le stanze nelle quali si può passeggiare, rigorosamente scalzi. Un sogno!! Dormire in un futon (tipico letto giapponese) è stata un’ottima esperienza, vi assicuro che oltre ad essere molto comodo è rilassante potersi distendere percependo il calore trattenuto dai tatami. Ultimo ma non ultimo la colazione PERFETTA!!! Preparata con attenzione e precisione, potrete gustare sia dolce che salato ed il tutto servito con succo di frutta e caffè/tè. La cura dei dettagli è a dir poco sensazionale e adorabile, pietanze abbondati e qualità superlativa. Per concludere: posto stupendo, esperienza ottima, consigliata e assolutamente da rifare!!! ————————— The modern ”ryokan” is located in the center of Kanazawa in a beautiful, typical and quaint neighborhood where you can breathe the air of authentic Japan. We were greeted at the entrance by friendly staff who immediately made us feel ”at home.” After offering us a very good local beer and assigning rooms the girl who received us was very nice and friendly explaining the major points of interest in the area and recommending some excellent restaurants. As for the accommodation, what can I say.... A true wonder!!! The perfect union of modernity and tradition, in a cozy environment you can find the comforts of the present (smart TV, wi-fi, smart boiler, microwave, washing machine) and the wonderful customs of the past. Wood, tatami and cork adorn all the rooms in which you can walk, of course, strictly barefoot. A dream!!! Sleeping in a futon (typical Japanese bed) was a great experience, I assure you that besides being very comfortable it is relaxing to be able to lie down feeling the heat held by the tatami mats. Last but not least the PERFECT breakfast!!! Prepared with care and precision, you can enjoy both sweet and savory and all served with juice and coffee/tea. The attention to detail is nothing short of sensational and lovely, plentiful dishes and superlative quality. To conclude: wonderful place, excellent experience, recommended and absolutely to do again!!!

Stayed here for 8 nights as we used Kanazawa as the base to travel to different areas. This hotel just opened 6 months ago so everything is very new. It is very central - 25 min walk or 15 min bus from Kanazawa Station or taxi around 1100 yen; right by Korinbo shopping area with lots of restaurants. It’s 8 minute walk to 21st century museum, Kanazawa castle and Kenrokurn Garden. I had a twin room and it’s very spacious. There is a full tub and shower and a separate toilet area. Highly recommended

Ci piace molto questo hotel! Era il miglior hotel in tutta la nostra gita. Situato vicino alla stazione ferroviaria ma sul lato più tranquillo. Ci sono stati molti centri intorno, quindi non c'è mancanza di opzioni alimentari. La stanza era spaziale e ben decorata con tutte le attrazioni. Le letti e il letto di notte erano comodi. I loro scarpe da letto erano in gomma e il bagno aveva sia doccia che bagno. La zona di immersione vanita aveva porte di scivolo per poter cambiare con privacy. Il WC era un'unità separata.
