Chrispy Waterpark Resort - All Inclusive

Arrived late door to room left open all day tones off flys and mosquitos to kill before we could sleep. The standard room is very basic and not what we expected fridge not working, only 1 plug socket in the whole room with A/C unit plugged in so could not use asked reception for an extension cable which was very old and tired brittle from the sun plugged it in and blew the electric in the room. Upgraded to a better room which was a decent standard but should be the standard room. Received an apology cake to the room for a supposed birthday a man brought the cake to the room knocked but did not wait for us to answer we were sleeping he let him self in before we could get out of bed which was very uncomfortable for my family. We then went to dine out at the A la carte restaurant which was not a A la carte experience it was food from the buffet down stairs not good service either. We were offered to keep the room by the manager as an apology for our experience of the holiday which was nice would cost €60 otherwise. Upon the last day they tried to get us to sign a disclaimer for this we refused as this form released the hotel of all liability. Hotel quite tired looking and buffet food not great either nothing much was warm Best food was pizza on the days it wasn’t burnt underneath. Don’t usually leave reviews but leaving today and the only thing we will miss is the sun

Definitely not a 4 star, 3 star at best. But have to pay 4 star island tax on arrival. we were a little disappointed. had a good time with family and friends. 6 adults 6 kids. Water slides are the saviour of this hotel. Food is ok. Had 2 nights where the food was good. Restaurant is absolutely boiling on an evening, no air conditioning. Drinks are not very good. Queue for bar is probably 20 deep on an evening. So we got the bus to platanis for €2 per person each way. It’s very nice there. Great food and drinks, shops. Nothing around the hotel, need a bus or taxi especially if you have children. Mini market is good. Our room was tiny, and hot, the air conditioning hardly worked. we upgraded to the executive room on our booking. So we complained, but Maria moved us to a more up to date and bigger room. We hired quads out for the day and they were excellent. All in all we did have a good holiday, but we will not be coming back to this hotel.

This holiday was one of the best family holidays we have ever been on! We flew from Manchester and after a 1 hour transfer (maybe a little more) we were welcomed into the hotel. The receptionist walked us to our rooms which was a lovely touch rather than getting a map with arrows drawn on it. The WiFi password was displayed in reception which is a must for the kids as all parents will appreciate! We only left the hotel on one day just to explore the area. Maria on reception called us a taxi and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great day out. The water park is amazing and despite some review is very safe. The hotel has everything you need for a great family holiday, the food was fab the pools were clean and the staff and entertainment was amazing. The weather when we were there was in the high 30s the apps will tell you it’s low 30s but it’s not so bring plenty of sun cream and get in that pool. I can’t fault the hotel for an all inclusive family holiday! Ignore this bad reviews where people take pictures of broken tiles or a plug socket that’s broke, if you’re having a good time with your family who even cares about those minor things. You get what you pay for people need to remember that. Highly recommended and we’ll be returning for sure!

The resort’s facilities and rooms are clean; the waterpark is fun for the children (and even adults). I traveled all inclusive with my family incl two boys aged 12 and 8 and honestly, I would’ve liked to have two large pools in the resort so one can be less crowded and full of plastic inflatable toys and kids. The food in the buffet was average and basically the same for lunch and dinner during the two weeks we stayed there! This was a major minus for us. In addition, the drinks in the bar were quite basic (sugary) and tasted pretty much the same regardless of mix. In my opinion, there could have been a menu with higher quality beverages for purchase if guests request that. I benefitted from the SPA services three times during our stay. The full body experience by Maria was very nice and I would recommend it. Only negative is that you can hear all the noise from outside despite the relaxing music. All in all, I think this could have been fine for one week, not longer.

We stayed from the 16th-23rd May 2024, 2 adults, 15 and 12 year old boys and 19 month old little girl. We stayed in an upgraded family room, which included a separate bedroom adjacent to the main room for the teenagers, which led out to the terrace. Rooms are on the small side, but adequate. Bathroom with shower over the bath was good, apart from the awkwardly placed shower which because it wasn’t behind the shower screen, caused a flood whenever it was on. The cleanliness was not to a good standard (don’t look under the beds ) and could do with being improved upon. The usual room amenities like a kettle, iron, even a clothes dryer for wet swimwear were not available which was disappointing. Food was very basic. Although we didn’t starve, there’s always chips and salad, it’s just very repetitive, boring and bland. The same food being offered daily with very little (if any) variation. We always do all inclusive holidays, and this one has been the worst for food unfortunately in terms of quality and lack of variety. The alcoholic drinks also weren’t great, but we’re not big drinkers so that didn’t really bother us. The kids did not enjoy the fizzy drinks and said they tasted funny. Entertainment wise, was very repetitive also, which is no fault of Matt Turna as he is single handedly doing all the day time and evening entertainment. The best night was the acrobats which were rather impressive. The water slides allowed the teenagers and adults alike some fun and the smaller child pool and slide was a hit with the toddler. However, be wary of the yellow slide, you may end up with skinned elbows like one of us, and many others we spoke to, including one of the lifeguards! The small play park was a nice addition for our little one too. Although be aware, that around the park and other rooms nearby, there are open gates that allow anyone walking by to enter the resort, rendering it insecure. Not that we personally would allow this of our kids, but we did see families with smaller children (4/5/6 year olds) running around with no adults present. This was a concern based off the lack of security into the resort. The staff were generally approachable and friendly. However, we were told when we checked in at 0100 on the 17th May that we could have a late checkout due to having a small child who would need to sleep and quiet time through the day as we weren’t being picked up until 2200 on the 23rd. It was reiterated that this was not a problem and would be catered for. The lady also wrote this in the communication diary to inform other staff. Then on the 22nd we went to reception to confirm this, to be told “no there’s no late check out, we’re fully booked.” Checkout is at 11am! To say we were frustrated was an understatement. We argued our point that this was unacceptable as we have a small child and need the room for longer than 11am, and that surely new guests aren’t all arriving mid morning/afternoon. A compromise was made for 1600 on the 23rd. We

I wasn’t expecting 5* but first impressions to make a difference. As soon as we got to the hotel there were a group of young lads sat in the wall outside in tracksuits smoking. Instantly put me off. Arrived at 2pm and told can’t check in till 3pm. Went for a late lunch in the restaurant and there was not much choice at all. Our room which was very average - we stayed in room 604. Not alot of walking around room as we had our infant son with us so had a travel cot but it was ok seeing as we were only going to be there 4 nights. Ground floor room and the patio doors didn’t lock, luckily I took sellotape with me to tape the lock up so it stayed locked when we were out of the room not ideal but nothing we could do about it. Small bathroom and awkward shower. Tv did not work at all, couldn’t get any channels One bonus was the bed was comfy. Food was very basic, the gyros that is available by the pool was the nicest food we had there. Cocktails were awful so wouldn’t recommend. Two out of the 4 days we were there we couldn’t get a high chair for my son so he had to eat his dinner in his pushchair, for the amount of children that were staying here there were no where near enough high chairs. The pool area was extremely slippery so had to walk very slow, hard to do with a 19 month old so my son slipped over quite a few times. Very cold water but the water park area was actually very good, my little boy loved the children’s slides. There is a play area with swings which was in good condition so we went here quite a lot. Luckily we rented a car for 2 out of our 4 days there as there was nothing in the area for us so this improved our holiday a lot. Very good price to rent a car we payed €80 for 48 hours that includes to hire a car seat. Car was not very clean inside but did the job for us. I couldn’t have spent more than 4 days here so luckily we didn’t book here for the week. I won’t be staying here again, there are a lot of things that need to be improved and updated. Crispys id say is barely a 3*…. But each to their own some might like it here

1st off all absolutely shocking check in.. We had our all Inclusive bands before we had even gave them our names! Then we checked in no one helped us with bags or anything! We got showed to bottom on the stairs where we had to carry 3 large cases 2 hand luggage and 2 kids ! 2nd the room we got checked into well! There are better prison cells there was one window ( balcony door) so the room was that dark and small .. it was awful 😖 I went down to reception and told them the room was not what we booked it was absolutely awful. The bath tub wasn't even big enough for my kids to sit in. They did move us room 3 days later to a bigger room with more light which was covered in ants. The fridge leaked water and didn't work properly. The beds only got changed every 3 days gave us fresh towels every day expect Monday. The pools was dirty no chlorine in them at all The floor in baby pool was very sharp / rough Floors are very slippery around pool areas. There is fake grass but it's very slugie when gets wet You have life guards always on phones hardly watching kids coming down slides The food was absolutely disgusting 🫣 hardly anything for kids ! They don't cater for English at all! What ever food u had at dinner was same at night ! It was ridiculous. Its all cold and taste all fishy... We tried the al carte restaurant in hotel as u get 1 free visit and that was awful! Cold .. We didn't even finish meals and we left! We was spending around 40 /50 € a day in shop on crisps / sweets / chocolate for kids to eat and they was hungry! They have lived on pasta or nuttella on bread at night for 11 days ! It's a joke pay for a 4 star 🌟 hotel thinking gna be amazing and it's absolutely shocking it's more like a 2 star 🌟 ! Kids club is a green table in corner near pool! The kids play area floor is that hot in day burns your feet! So little kids was crying cause it was hot ! Hardly any entertainment in day to break it up so days are so long ! No games for kids to keep entertained .. most place we have been to have archery/ darts/ shooting / or things for them to do. It was a very disappointing experience to be honest There was a few times my kids wanted to come home ! Which when on hoilday do kids want to come home! Not very often! Whilst we was there was 5 people that know off that got hurt ! 1 girl split her eye open ! 2 people cut their arms open 1 women ripper her toe nail off My son smashes his head off yellow slide massive lump and lifeguard didn't even know I had to get him so ice and that! There was 2 times where there was poo in kids pool which maintaince man just come and got it out didn't even close pool / clean pool or anything! Would never ever go back or recommend to anyone ! Staff room right next to shop for everyone to see .. eating what ever is left from the food they fed us !

Arrived very early morning so couldn't see much. We were allocated a room in the main reception with balcony overlooking the bar area. Basic but clean. Air con poor but had double doors and windows for breeze. Pool area ok. Plenty of beds to grab even around 9am which was a nice change. Food not amazing. Breakfast was the best. My teenage boys struggled with the food. Entertainment very poor.....water zumba, water polo and darts in the daytime. Night time very subdued. Some things on in the amphitheatre a couple if times but not able to get a drink while there as only 1 bar and 1 bar staff so queue were ridiculous most nights. Drinks poor......staff not very friendly so didn't make us feel welcome. Smell of cat pee and some cat mess on the grass area so had to watch were you stood around sunbeds. Overall.....apart from the weather not the best holiday. Got the bus to Plantianas a few times which was nice..to get a change of food and to pass the nights away. Won't be returning though unfortunately.
