Casa Cabana Hotel & Suites - Adults Only

(We stayed in a jacuzzi room.) As other reviews have mentioned, the rooms are quite impractical, although they look stylish. Impractical because there is next to nowhere to put your things - there is no furniture in the room other than a bed and some moulded concrete alcoves at floor level; the room doesn't look quite so stylish with 2 open suitcases taking up most of the floor space the whole time you're there! If you're a lady who likes to sit and do their hair and makeup - forget it - there is no dressing table, and no power outlet near enough to the only mirror, nor a chair either for that matter. There is a wooden "clothes rail" affair which provides approx 18" of hanging space. And you bump your head on the "lobster pot" lightshades every time you get in and out of the bed! The standard of room cleaning was very slap dash - our toilet and shower weren't properly cleaned in 12 nights and the counter wasn't wiped from one day to the next. Curtains were falling down. Shower was excellent. Free safe in room. Large and very comfy bed. No kettle provided until we asked for one from reception. Jacuzzi was large, warm, powerful and clean, but not very private. We didn't use the pool. It's small and the area around it is overcrowded with sun beds. Lots of those are in the shade. Breakfast was good - wide selection, no complaints. Some nice outdoor tables to sit and eat at. Bar and restaurant were empty every evening - we didn't try them. It was annoying to be woken up every morning before 8am by a leaf blower, followed by cleaners shouting across the courtyard. (Church bells too, but that's beyond the remit of Casa Cabana haha). Not a place for a holiday lie-in. Overall, Casa Cabana is pretty "vibeless" - there's no atmosphere at all about the place. Staff were polite and efficient (bar the cleaner) but not friendly or welcoming. Perhaps they'd had enough for the season. I've stayed in better hotels on Rhodes which charge a lot less than Casa Cabana. Faliraki isn't the most interesting of places. It's a purpose-built resort. Few Greeks live there outside the tourist season. There is no Greek charm. Not many restaurants serving authentic traditional Greek food. ("Sepp" is worth a visit for simple Greek cuisine and a lovely welcome.) The beach is great - long, clean and sandy, safe for children. Sunbeds are expensive at 20 Euros a pair.

Booked a very last minute stay at this lovely hotel, where we have stayed previously. We weren’t disappointed. Staff are very friendly and helpful and it was good to see staff that we’d met previously. Breakfast is excellent, lots of choice. Hotel is very clean, pool area relaxed. Hotel is in a very good position. Close to shops/bars/beach/bus etc but still quiet. We were lucky enough to have a room upgrade which was wonderful.? Look forward to our next visit

Casa cabana is in an ideal location near many bars and restaurants whilst being quiet and tranquil. The staff were excellent 👏, very friendly and helpful. The ambience around the hotel and small pool area was lovely and the breakfasts were filling albeit repetitive. We had one delicious dinner at the hotel too. We had treatments in the spa which were very good. The only thing we didn’t like was our room. There were no wardrobes ( just a rack ) no cupboards no drawers so most of our clothes remained in a heap for the full 8 days. Our bed was against the wall so I had to climb up 2 steps and crawl along the bed to get in. 😳 Not easy getting out in the middle of the night ( I’m 74 years old ) There were no chairs or settee in the room, just one small stool between 2 people. Such a small pokey room. If this is Greek design, we don’t like it. Our advice is to upgrade your room or go elsewhere.

Very disappointed !!!! We came to rhodes on our honey moon staying in kiatari a quiter part of Rhodes we fancied spending a couple of nights in faliraki to experience the nightlife. My new husband booked us the Dulux suite with the private pool for 2 nights , he paid over £900. Seeing the pics online of the room and pool I couldn’t wait it looked amazing. We checked in at 3pm , walking in the first thing I noticed is the huge sign on the top of the wall behind the pool from the shop next door. They don’t show that in the pics. The strange colour of the pool really put me about it had a thick rim of grime around the edge. There was muck all in the bottom of the pool and on the patio. There was no way I was going in that pool. I went to the reception and complained. They sent a man around who just took the bugs of the top of the pool and hovered some of the muck from the bottom. He did not clean the pool it was still filthy. When we asked to change rooms they showed us another room which the pool was just as bad. The lady said it’s because of all the oils people wear in the pool. This made me feel sick. The room and decor was nice apart from the ants that was all downstairs. Another complaint would be the sunbed that you can’t move, not very practical for sun bathing. Thankfully we had an amazing night out in faleraki but the next morning I couldn’t bare to go in that pool. We checked out the day before we had to. They offered us a massage or some food not our money back. This was our honeymoon and this ruined one of our days.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks. Unfortunately we weren't really greeted friendly in the evening, maybe because we were really late due to the global IT problems at the airport (but we even informed them by email which they didnt even reply to) but the staff at the recepetion took a call while we were already talking to them and just left us waiting. Afterwards we didnt really feel welcomed but asked for a possible upgrade which she just didnt even check but insisted we have to talk to the person in charge on the next day. We did so and in the end luckily didnt book the upgrade to a room w a private pool, since we saw that you dont really have sun on the sunbeds after 2pm so it wouldnt have been worth it anyway. The breakfast buffet was really good and the staff around the bar/pool area was very kind. After a few days we felt that our room wasnt properly cleaned and contacted the reception, they ensured us to take care of it and talk to the cleaning team and clean it proper the next day. When we came back the next afternoon from our trip the room wasnt event cleaned it looked as if they just made the bed and thats it, they also forgot the towels and even though we made a request the bed sheets were not changed. We called the reception again but they just said they are still checking w the team and will make sure the next day - this behaviour was really disappointing and from a persperctive of a person that works in hospitality we didnt really feel understood or taking serious at this point. In the end the room was cleaned proper after we insisted twice but we didnt even get a clear explanation, refund or anything which is in consideration of the price and their standard in the rest of the hotel just disappointing. All in all it was an okei experience since the whole stay was a bit shadowed by the staff's treatment.

Absolutely amazing hotel!! Best hotel we have ever stayed in, everything was amazing from start to finish. I had booked this hotel as a surprise for my partners 30th, we stayed in room 101 with a pool. Room was spotless, cleaners in every day with fresh towels etc. Bed was the comfiest bed we’ve stayed in abroad! The breakfast was amazing the staff were so lovely which made it, lots of choice with breakfast. (We didn’t try other meals at the hotel as we went into the town for lunch/dinner so can’t comment on other melas) Hotel is walking distance to the town centre (and beach), where there is plenty of choice for food. The place overall is amazing we found it to be very cheap & every meal for the 7nights we were there was amazing do not have any complaints. Pool side room - amazing!! Water in the pool is a little cold to begin with, the sun does tend to be on the lounger bed in the morning and more shaded in afternoon but this was perfect for us as it was a bit warm for us. 100% will be returning to this hotel & location, I wouldn’t think twice about booking!! Amazing all over ❤️☀️
