Kelebek Hotel

Great hotel run by a wonderful family team. Really enjoyed our 3 week stay at this lovely hotel, ideally situated for exploring Kalkan, the old town & the surrounding areas. Breakfasts were very good in the hotels breakfast restaurant, with lovely views over Kalkan Bay, The pool, bar and dining areas were really nice, with great food from the hotels restaurant, the lamb shank and moussaka was superb and I can understand why so many guests return to this great hotel, we certainly will. Thanks to all the family & staff for a wonderful holiday, we look forward to staying with you again.

Welcoming family-run hotel with lovely staff. The hotel food is delicious and reasonably priced. The hotel rooms are clean and you can request a sea view. Lovely roof terrace for breakfast with great view. There is a reason that people always keep coming back to this hotel year after year!

I have reported my complaint. they said they would clean it, but they did not clean it, I reported it again, this time they rudely cursed again. [8/8 08:56] flower07kalkan: My advice to all holidaymakers, we made a mistake and came here by looking at the pictures, but we were wrong, do not rent a place without examining the room.

The Kelebek is a small family run hotel which seems like home from home experience. All who worked there were extremely helpful and polite, the rooms were very clean with a fabulous shower in the bathroom to both cool down and wake up to. The pool area was quiet with the hotel bar close by to keep hydrated. Kalkan itself is a wonderful town with plenty of nice restaurants but the best steak in town was at the Kelebek, cooked to perfection, excellent quality and quite a bit cheaper than the restaurants in town. We had a very good holiday but the hills are just getting a little too much for us now and sadly to say this will probably be our last visit. Thank you to all at the Kelebek for making our three weeks stay such an enjoyable one.

Thank you Kalkan!! What a fabulous family ran hotel - if you’re looking for a spotless hotel with beautifully home cooked meals this is the one. The view was beautiful. The old town it’s breathtaking. The pool is just right and the cabanas and sun beds on the mezzanine and pool side are comfortable. Too marks definitely go to the family and Ruby thank you for making our holiday one to remember.

We were welcomed by a nice man who worked at the hotel and he invited us in. However it went downhill fast from here. In the room, lots of things were broken such as the toilet seat, shower, dressing table, the light, and the extractor fan in the shower room. Some of the staff were nice, however the old man owner is extremely rude!! We were extremely un-welcomed by him each time we walked into the hotel. You were not allowed to bring in any of you own food or drinks, which in the peak heat of summer at 42 degrees, not allowing guests to bring in drinks is stupid. There was a fridge in the room, so we just brought food in anyways and stored it in the fridge. The bbq night is a gimmick and as we stated there for a while, we noticed that the price would increase as more guests arrived. Also the quality of the food at the bbq night was not very good, as we attended it in the first week of staying there. The cleaners of our rooms were also not very good, they wouldn’t clean our room for days on end and in 3.5 weeks of staying there we only got fresh towels twice and they kept on taking away our bath mat and towels and leaving us with none. Kalkan overall is also not an ideal place to go, there is not much to do, apart from going to the beach.

Just returned home from 2 weeks at Kelebek hotel. Wonderful relaxed atmosphere at this family run hotel. Great location with bars and restaurants short walk down the hill. Excellent food served at hotel cooked fresh by Mamma. Bbq themed night great fun with lots of dancing. Already booked to return next year

Fantastic holiday we love the kelebek staff/owners are lovely hotel spotless rooms lovely best holiday for years just booked for September I wish now we went back earlier love the quantness off all the little cobbled streets bars and restaurants very steep going down cab back up (very very cheap )

We had a wonderful relaxing family holiday. The staff who are all family couldn't do enough for you and were so friendly throughout our staff. Having breakfast on the terrace was lovely. The hotel food was lovely and freshly prepared, we watched the ladies peeling the potatoes for our chips (which were so good) and when my boys ordered pizza they said it would take 45 mins as they had to prepare the dough. The hotel is located at the top of the hill overlooking Kalkan, so a bit of climb from the Old Town but this didn't bother us. If you want a hotel with all mod cons this isn't for you but for our family of 6 adults it was bliss.
