The Orchid Retreat

The rooms and the ambience was really good. Rooms and the surroundings were neat and clean. Executive room has good view . Food was also healthy and tasty. Staffs were helpful. The only cons I would say is the room service time. Sometimes it takes even 40-45 mins to get order delivered .

It a very nice time to spent there in Mystic Orchid. Booking experience was very good. Being in the resort, staff’s behaviour was excellent. Ambience is very attractive, with the true nature. Everyone can refresh themselves with natural essence.

Very good experience overall, food was amazing and the staff were very helpful. It's a beautiful property to stay at. Kudos!

The Rooms were Good. Cleanliness could have be Hotel Staff was supportive, good, well mannered, always had smile on their face. Food was good. House keeping and room service efforts need improvement on *Everyday feedback *Replinishment of all essential items everyday viz. Soap, shampoo, tea & coffee shachets etc. glass, cups. *Followup on cleaning of rooms. Hotel needs structural updation viz. installation of lift as it is extremely difficult for aged people with orthopedic problem to climb up through stairs from the cottage. Prunning of plants and control of pest in and around hotel is necessary. The entrance & glow sign with the name of hotel needs updation as they project initial brand value of property. Thanks.

best time i had in this place really appreciate the hospitality of this place and the staff Premika was very humble and the room was perfect for me and i got all things jn needed in this place , Thankyou you very much to all staff that I had a comfortable stay.

Great place to stay , staff was very humble and accomodating and good clean room .must visit place. the food was also good and overall stay was pleasent also the reception team never fails to give the best rooms .we enjoyed our stay . thankyou so much mystic orchid retreat kalimpong 💯💯

Bit far from town and that's way I liked it the most staff very very polite and helpful. First day food served very late but I then understand that food has to be prepared so you get fresh food... Thanks to Deepika Santa and team for all..... Must visit place....

Planned out a small trip to this place and the stay was very very good .food was very nice .we could not do sight seen due to rain but still the stay was complete .also thk the ent staff for arrangeing a cake ...

I booked this hotel through Make My Trip. I was traveling North Bengal with my family and in my last stretch we picked up this hotel for stay in Kalimpong. We reached this hotel after travelling a long road from Sandakphu around late evening. When we reached the hotel, we saw the room proposed to us was very ill managed, the cushions and seat was dirty, no intercom to talk to helpdesk or anything, also furniture were placed very improper way. I asked for the Hotel manager, he took good 20 min to attend us. When he came I showed him the room and he agreed to put us to a new room, which was supposed to be a better room with a higher value, however the room that he shifted us was again a room with damp on wall, dirty linen, TV not working and again no intercom, he shared me individual numbers for people to take care of separate thing and his number too, I tried reaching the house keeping manager, showed him all this and his standard answer to all issues was that it can be fixed next day only. We called Make My Trip helpdesk, and they were not able to help us either. We travelled a long way and all of us was very much exhausted, and it was very late in the evening for us to search for an alternate accommodation, thus we had to compromise and stay with that filth for the entire night. Next day by evening when we returned from our side-scene our linen got changed and TV started working but rest of issues remained there. It was very unpleasant stay, and I will not recommend the hotel to anyone… No doubt the Hotel location was good, but the services and amenities are far below standard.
