Hotel a 3 stelle a Kaiserslautern

All'inizio, la prenotazione era prenotata, l'hotel pagava per soggiornare. 7:30 a sera, una baiai ragazza è stata ricevuta all'uno all'altro, l'atteggiamento di servizio è molto buono. Mi dispiace provare quattro volte. The breakfast is so good here. If you sleep here be sure to eat breakfast - dont skip it. Otherwise, free parking outside is a very big PLUS. It is rather away from the city center, and there is just a supermarket nearby that you can visit. The room with the sofa is a very good room - sadly this hotel is nearly booked out every time i check - the ladies at the desk are very helpful and have read their lines, they are happy to repeat them. This is a hotel that is mainly visited by Americans, so do expect a different crowd. Americans do like to socialize here.

Stayed one night and it was simple, but adequate. It is a HI express so you arw not getting luxury but you are getting consistency. Parking is 5 euros Breakfast is okay but adequate with normal cold cuts, cheeses, coffee, juices and breads. Kind of an old school German breakfast. No fitness center which is not good. They offer some sort of pay for service at a local fitness center. Room was big, tasteful and modern. It was good and a plus. They have a bar that serves limited food. I had a decent small pizza for 6.50 It is convenient to the autobahn and if your business involves the US military it is well situated. Overall, decent average HI express with consistent quality and pleasant check in and out. I would recommend for a quick stay if you want a ”I could be anywhere stay”.

L'hotel è centrale, non ha parcheggio privato e attraverso il luogo di costruzione è stato un po' disgustoso da trovare. La stanza era moderna, pulita e andava dietro, quindi tranquillo. I mattoni erano buoni. Una cosa abituata era la soluzione separata bagno/spazio nella zona intermedia del dormitorio e del sedile, poco intima, quindi luminosa. Per una notte si può ignorare.

This place was ten miles east of our town and we selected it randomly. Overall our stay was surprisingly good. Our very clean double room on the 2nd floor was ok but we had an end unit and lots of street noise. No air conditioner or fan so it was a trade off between noise and fresh air. Luckily we had cool breezes even in late July 2023. I would suggest this nice family owned place add ceiling fans at the least. An upgrade to air conditioning down the road is likely. A coffee pot and a frig would be welcome too. We brought our mini 12v/220v frig just in case to keep the beverages cold. There were no glasses in our room but we got them from the downstairs bar. The breakfast was traditional and unremarkable. A nice choice offered included eggs to order. The cheese omelet was good. Inside was a ground floor restaurant but we did not try it. Outside around back was a terrace restaurant with waiters. We did not try that either. Now let's talk about the really good stuff. The BIERGARTEN! It is downstairs from the terrace. We had never heard of this place and we are glad we tried it. What a surprise. I have never seen it on any Biergarten lists in the area but this place should definitely be on it. What a gem. Plenty of large heavy picnic-style tables (12 or more?) and benches with cushions too with seating under trees and lights. This is Gemütlichkeit. There was a nice mixture of German and American families out to have a good time and we did. The bar was tended by three lads who were happy to pour your drinks and place your food orders. The prices were right (lower than we expected) and the portions and flavors were spot on! This is now on the top of our list to bring family and friends to just for the Biergarten!! Zum Wohl!
