예약해서 와보니ㅎ 방갈루였네요 신기신기 옆에 피라미드 카이로 아니니 입구 확인 잘하셔야할듯 카이로 시내에서 휴양지 느낌나서 재밌어요

Convenient place to stay in Giza for business and tourism.

This review is written in retrospect, this was to allow the hotel to respond to issues we had during the stay. We stayed 3-6th February 2025. 3 night stay to visit pyramids and museums. Family group staying in 3 rooms. We arrived mid evening it was dark. The accommodation was in bungalow rooms. The standard was poor, old, worn, dirty and not very secure. Patio door in room 911 secured with a door chain as lock broken. No safe in the rooms. I went to reception to try and get moved to another hotel but there was nothing available at The Steigenberger Hotel next door. As we had drivers and guides picking us up each day and airport transfer booked we felt it was not tenable to move to another hotel out of the area. We enquired about a safe at reception, a man carried a safe to our room about 20 mins later. Not ideal. We needed to eat and the pool bar was closed. We booked a restaurant 10 minutes away. Hotel taxi tried to charge us $40 after initially being quoted $25 by the reception desk, there is no price list. He then went on to say he could do it for $30. We declined and ordered an Uber which cost $1. I will let you draw your own conclusions. We had no issues using Ubers during our stay. The next morning in the light we could see the extent of the poor condition of the rooms and the building work being carried out within the gardens and walk ways. The rooms in the area behind us were empty and being refurbished, it was a mess. On a positive note breakfast was in The Steigenberger Hotel, it was a lovely room, the food and the staff were great. We were out sightseeing from early until late. We went out to restaurants in the evenings which we booked in advance, using Ubers for transportation. On the last day as we checked out, Apple AirPods were left on the bed in the room for approximately 15 mins. We went back for them but they were gone. The room was being made up when we went back, we reported theft to reception who would look into it. We left for the airport an hour later without any resolution. I emailed Steigenberger head office to report this (it took them 7 days to respond). When we landed in London we began tracking the AirPods via Find my phone app, they were in various residential locations in Giza, returning to the hotel on two separate days before eventually being sold 10 days later in central Cairo. We sent screen shots of the locations in real-time to the hotel via email and WhatsApp. The hotel has completed their investigations and can find no one responsible. I would not recommend this hotel.
