Mett Hotel & Beach Resort Marbella Estepona

The perfect place in every respect. The rooms, the facilities, the food and most important the efficient and friendly staff. We look forward to to returning soon with our friends and neighbors in Florida! We had visited the area numerous times before but the other hotels were no more than average. Yours is 5 star in every respect and I am a traveler who visits two times every year and 5 or more countries every year. Congratulations!

Had a lovely week here. Breakfast very good. Italian and Greek restaurants also very good. The staff here were all excellent. The music by the pool can be loud at times but they will turn it down if you ask. The hotel is in a fairly quiet area but within a short Uber ride away from Marbella and Estepona.

Hotel has very nice accommodations. Pool and beach were fantastic. Food at restaurants were good. Breakfast was great The service was extremely slow at the pool. Took an average 30-45 minutes to get a bottle of water. Had to ask multiple servers to get drinks or menus. Food also took a long time to arrives. This want a one day occurrence, occurred each day I was there.

Painfully slow service at Beach club. I've visited the Azure beach club 3 times this year and the service is unbelievably slow. It's completely unorganised which is a real shame. I've tried on a number of occasions as the food is good it's just that you need to take your own drinks with you so you don't dehydrate while waiting to be served.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. The staff was helpful and very friendly. The breakfast was perfect. We loved the vibrant pool area and sunbeds right at the beach to relax in peace. We would love to come back soon. Thank you.

All staff were very friendly and professional. Had 2 treatments at the spa and Lidia the massage therapist is extremely good at what she does. I had so much pain in my back, and she resolved it like magic. The music by the pool needs some attention. Playing techno at 11am with high bass can be rather annoying, specially since the rooms facing the pool are not fully sound proof and the bass travels through. There is a fine line between creating an ambience and noise, Which this new hotel is still trying to figure out. All in all, still had a lovely time. Definitely try the Greek restaurant

This review is based on the hotels rating, purporting to be 5 star. Booked this resort for gf's birthday. Haven't been to the Costa Del Sol for about 15 years, was interested to see how it was looking. This resort has had an extensive refurbishment and change of ownership. As it's not a new build, you have limitations when it comes to adopting the latest design trends. The building itself still has a 'retro' feel to it. The bedrooms aren't quite to the standard of a 5 star but that of a good 4 in terms of layout, materials, and size. The pool makes for the centre of attention, with the building/rooms moulded around it. The location of the hotel means you should definitely hire a car if you want to see Marbella and even Estepona (although it's looking incredibly run down, so I'd suggest don't bother). You have easy access to the beach and a boardwalk to stretch the legs. There are a couple of onsite restaurants, although the Greek one was closed when we were there. We ate at the Italian a couple of times (one more than we wanted but didn't want to drive to Marbella again). Food was 6/10 for a 5 star, the service was decent, and the wine was ok. Breakfast, weirdly, everyone seems to rave about this, but we found it to be uninspiring and, tbh a very basic buffet. There are items that you can order from the menu, but once again, the quality was poor. Service at breakfast was very attentive, and the ambience was pleasant. Food around the pool area was ok, service at this area is below standard so they need to improve this, we had to go look for a waiter a couple of times. The hotel at night is nicely illuminated and is welcoming. Music and vibe - generally quite classy, but one day it went a bit 'Ocean Beach' vibe, music too loud, and the wrong type for their intended clientele. They need to focus on appealing to one demographic instead of trying to appease everyone. If they could improve the areas which are possible such as food, service, and vibe, then I'd move it to a 4 rating.
