Clerk had to fix tv, no phone, no soap, light bulb in lamp out

Property was near our venue. Hotel was quite beds we’re comfortable. Staff was ok, not talkative but that’s ok. Rooms were in good condition and relatively clean. I have a habit of looking high so I always find dust on lamps. Otherwise good room for the trip purpose.

Off the beaten path. Clean and appears to be recently renovated. There were no pastries for breakfast and also a hole in the bath towel.

Booked a room a month in advance for Chris**as for my family and got a phone call day of check in that it was not available because person staying in that room extended their stay. They knew ten days before but decided to let me in know day of so I was forced to take a small room with one less bed. They didn’t discount the room or offer anything for the inconvenience. Instead of room with kitchenette I got a mini fridge and microwave and they both did not work even after trying different electrical outlets. They had to know that the appliances were not working. Will never stay there again.

Only minor ding I can give is there were no coffee cups, just clear plastic ones. I'm sure it was just a over site.

The sink leaked, there was no stopper in the tub. Someone else's sock behind door. Two of the towels had lint from some other clothing on them.
