The staff were all friendly and great for the tour desk to waitstaff to bartenders. Of course we had our faves, (Glendale and Karlos), mostly at the long bar. Where we also enjoyed our evening entertainment, including g the superbowl. The beach is great and a long stretch just within the resort, tons of sturdy wooden umbrellas and no shortage of chairs here or at either pool. Pools were clean just needing maintenance for appearance. The food was def adequate, plenty to offer for different diets. The coffee was delicious, as were the desserts. The room, well, it’s different. But what it had was a decent closet with hangers, other cubbies and mirror, ceiling fan, several lights, safe, patio for drying suits with chairs, etc. we had high water pressure and hot water daily, and received fresh towels as requested. The front door stuck, the patio door lock was a nail in a hole, the a/c did not work well, until the last day they fixed it, so the room felt a little damp. The shower is small, and no exhaust fan in bathroom. It is old, but I think the cost represents this for the Caribbean. The bars have cold water available and the coffee bar which is self serve but my suggestion would be to offer a beverage upon arrival or have the water at front desk. We had a full day of travel and were very parched and hungry. We had to wait 1 hour for food. Nothing is 24/7. All in all very enjoyable, but we did leave the resort every other day for 6 nights.
