Hotel in zona City center of Johor Bahru, Johor Bahru

The hotel is strategically located in the bustling areas in Johor Bahru City Centre, next to Komtar JBCC and opposite City Square (you can just cross the road to reach City Square). Don’t worry about being hungry as there are lots of food options available! We headed to Level 8 for check in and the process was smooth, front desk staff are all friendly and helpful, even extending our check out time to 1 pm so that we don’t have to rush our packing. The room looks posh and cosy, we didn’t get to visit the swimming pool and gym. The bed is comfortable and both soft and hard pillows are provided. The view from our hotel room is great too! The tv channels are limited though, there are natgeo, AXN, Bloomsberg, Astro, BBC, CNA, etc. no netflix option available, but it’s alright. On top of omelettes and other egg options, you get to choose soft boiled eggs and hard boiled eggs for breakfast too! Breakfast options are splendid! It was a nice short getaway and we love to come again❤️

Location is walking distance from city square, so those traveling by bus. i would recommend, otherwise if you are riding ur own transport, there is a private access carpark to park your vehicles. customer service here is good as always & i'll always pick Z hotel for jb stays.

It's a king bed room, the location is good and room is perfectly cleanliness, the staff is kindly and serves with smilling always.

Viaggi di vacanza con famiglia. L'hotel ha bisogno di prendere il Pasar Karat La distanza a piedi è circa lontana. Il posto è piuttosto tranquillo a notte non molto divertimento intorno alla zona. Per noi siamo riusciti a prendere il più vicino centro commerciale. Il cibo dell'hotel è così.. Ci sono pochi posti che hanno buon cibo delizioso.

Very very good! This unit exceeded our expectation! My photos taken after our stay, sorry it doesn’t do much justice because my young kids didn’t have the chance to take photos upon arrival. The Good: - Very clean!! No insects. - Renovations like hotel! - Smells good. - Towel provided good quality and clean - Provided disposable toothbrush, shower cap, comb, slippers and shaver like hotel standard. - Provided 6 bottles of bottled water - Cold aircon - Clean bedding - Nice and peaceful view - Good security - Blackout curtains - Very responsive service, just WhatsApp and will respond almost immediately and it’s 24/7 on standby. - Allowed early check in For improvement: - pillows too soft, the adults including myself woke up with some stiff neck. - Security abit troublesome but is needed. - Mobile reception for my Malaysia line is very very weak but can detect and use my Singapore line instead. - Very weak wifi in the room when doors are close, can’t load videos. Overall I love it and will return. Just hope they’ll improve on pillows.

The walk from the KTM was longer than expected but straight forward and easy to find. Place clean with sufficient ammenities and toiletries and also lots of space. The master bedroom has a big bed that can fit 3 persons and the secondary bedroom fits 2 adults. The couch also comfortable and the TV has many streaming platforms available. Downstairs is the R&F mall that also has many shops and restaurants which is very convenient! Overall really loved our short stay!! Would definitely choose this place again for overnight stay in JB~♡

We have not been back here for over a year and got a newly renovated room on the 25th floor But guys, you can do better with the windows cos its all mouldy and unable to see clearly the beautiful view. Nonetheless, I was impressed by the efficient check-in/check-out process of the hotel. They allowed us to check in early, at about 1245pm. Their customer service is also commendable. The premium amenities with spa and wellness facilities offered us an excellent experience. (A separate price, just below Tower 2) We also loved everything about this hotel, from room types, customer service, and facilities to the serene pool area. I will recommend others for sure!

The hotel offered a comfortable and pleasant stay with excellent amenities. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests like extra pillows, towels and etc. The only issue was that the air conditioning in the room was not working, so we called the front desk, and maintenance was sent to our room immediately to check and resolve the issue. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel.

Questo hotel è sempre stato il mio andare all'hotel in JB se voglio essere vicino a KSL. La stanza è grande e pulita. L'unica cosa che voglio menzionare è che non danno alcuna bottiglia di cotone, pads di cotone e pads d'orecchio.  Sono rimasto nella stanza 1902 e sono molto felice di vedere il sollevamento dalla finestra della stanza, e i sedili vicino alla cortina sicuramente aggiunge un bel toccamento, perché possiamo sederci confortevolmente per vedere il sollevamento.  Il buffet era normale, ma ho notato che non c'erano sacchi di tè.  Il parcheggio è gratuito per gli ospiti dell'hotel. Inoltre, attualmente c'è uno sconto del 20% a Thai Odyssey se mostrate la carta della stanza. Situato al 6° piano dell'hotel.

Questa è la mia 6a soggiorno nell'Amar Hotel. Ci siamo trasferiti qui per 3 giorni e 2 notti. Ci sono stati accolti bene dal personale dell'hotel come al solito. Il servizio e l'atmosfera non ci hanno fallito. Ma troviamo che la stanza dell'hotel che stiamo soggiornando è vicino all'ascensore, ma trovo un po' di crampe, soprattutto il passaggio della porta che porta alla stanza. Il bagno era un po' più piccolo di quanto mi aspettavo. Il sistema di raffreddamento ha un po' di problemi, ma per l'atmosfera generale della reception dell'hotel è stato buono, è stato decorato con il piacere festivo di Natale e l'esperienza è stata perfettamente buona e bella. La mia madre e io come me sono così tanto che ci fa tornare qui di nuovo per il nostro JB StayCation su una base spesso. Abbiamo goduto anche il colazione per le 2 mattine. Pensiamo di tornare per il nostro prossimo soggiorno molto presto. Grazie per averci ancora fatto.
