Hotel con colazione inclusa a John Day

Check-in was pleasant, but the clerk had her daughter in the lobby watching something on the computer a full volume. There are no elevators, and the motel has outdoor corridors so there's not much privacy or quiet. The beds were horrible! Even freshly made, you could see a huge sag in the mattresses. You could hear other rooms and all the plumbing when anyone took a shower in another room. The room was clean, and there were a couple of extra amenities like a Keurig. However, there was no room servicing., and we had to track down someone to get additional coffee pods. Breakfast was terrible! There was no coffee, and the eggs and potatoes were cold. There was no one working the breakfast room, so we couldn't find anyone to ask for coffee. They had some semi-stale donuts and blueberry muffins that seemed to be made with some type of synthetic ”berries”. I noticed another guest trying to find milk for her cereal, since the pitcher was empty. To add insult to injury, the room cost just shy of 200 bucks!!! Lousy room and way overpriced, but maybe that's what you get in a small town like John Day. NOT recommended!
