I cannot recommend Agterplaas highly enough. Our room was cool and comfortable with antique furniture and accoutrements a stylish touch. Elroy and Annemie are such gracious hosts, and incredible cooks too! (Filet on the braai for dinner with chili-chocolate sauce, then fresh vetkoek, bacon and eggs for breakfast – what a treat!) The dining room was our favourite place to hang out at the guesthouse, where stories of its twenty-five year history could be heard over malva pudding and glasses of wine. Sitting on the balcony that overlooks the koppies in the late afternoon winter sun was an added pleasure. Can't wait to return!

La mia esperienza è buona. Le strutture erano di prima qualità con tutto quello che mi serviva per rendere il mio soggiorno confortevole e piacevole. The Sandton Garden Court is a gracious hotel located next to Mandela Square. An outstanding buffet breakfast is provided daily. The staff at the front desk helpfully arranged a private tour of Johannesburg for us (cost about 2000 Rand or $100 for two of us) and it was fabulous. When my partner fell ill with a viral infection, the hotel's on-call doctor came to our room, diagnosed the problem and provided medications for symptom relief. We are very grateful and impressed with this hotel.

Il Mint Hotel 84 offre le basi giuste con camere pulite, confortevoli e personale amichevole.La mia camera era doppia standard con letto regine, aveva tutto quello che mi serviva, tra cui un ufficio, un caffè e una buona pressione idrica nel bagno. Il letto era piuttosto comodo e la stanza era pulita ogni giorno. Il colazione diffuso nella zona di pranzo aveva una varietà di opzioni, tra cui cereali, tostapane, frutta, pascoli e uova. I stayed I the holiday inn Johannesburg for about 5 weeks for business, the rooms were comfortable and quiet considering the amount of air traffic overhead , the rooms were clean and well kept , the staff were great , and breakfast was varied and good selection , the hotel is kept secure by the gate staff . Special thanks to the bar staff who tried their best to keep the bar stocked for 8 people sitting drinking by the pool most days ( Linda and William can’t remember the other names ) but they all done a great job Would certainly return again on next visit well done guys and girls

Questa era una scelta perfetta! :-) Mi piacevano davvero i loro accessori e mobili in tutta la proprietà. Tutto era così bello! Abbiamo soggiornato lì per 4 notti. Il personale è stato incredibile grande, anche! Poiché siamo vegani, è stato difficile trovare l'alloggio giusto. Ma il personale dell'albergo è aperto per creare un colazione vegano ogni mattina. Era delizioso! La situazione dell'ostello è buona, perché avete la possibilità di camminare al Rosebank Mall vicino. Ecco, si può trovare molti negozi e ristoranti. In generale, si raccomanda definitivamente questo posto! Poiché non lo faremo al Kruger NP questa volta, dobbiamo certamente tornare e prenotare questa casa di nuovo! :-) Grazie per tutto!

We used the Gautrain to get to the hotel from the airport, it was an easy and safe walk with luggage to the hotel along a pedestrian only street. Check in staff were very friendly and offered us a much needed cool welcome drink. Room was wonderful, AC was working and we each had a generous bottle of water, if there was any load shedding that night we did not notice it. We decided to dine in the hotels Proud Mary restaurant after noticing it seemed to be the busiest restaurant on the street, we were not disappointed, we had an excellent dinner and breakfast the next morning. Door staff stored our luggage the next day as we toured around a bit, and when we returned to pick it up they offered us a lift to the Gautrain station in a golf cart, which was really appreciated. This hotel and restaurant exceeded our expectations, wished we had time to spend another night.

UUtente ospiteHoliday Inn rosebank hotel is located at the center of rosebank and there is a gautrain station just in front of the hotel entrance and also you can access to the rosebank mall directly from the hotel. The entire team on this hotel was super friendly always willing to welcome the guests with pleasure. Breakfast on the 2nd floor served by variety of food selection of which including a cheese plate and an egg station was just enough to boost energy to start up the day. The food served from the hotel restaurant was with a reasonable price so that I could enjoy delicious food without going out for dinner. I would definitely say that it's worth the money to stay in this place. Although I had a concern about the city Johannesburg before the trip but at least in this rosebank area which was totally safe to hang out and walk around the streets with no stress. I had such a great experience in Johannesburg and willing to come back in the future. Thank you once again to leave this beautiful country with good memories. It's was such a pleasure to stay here.

TTrevor_PilotVery disappointed after our stay at The DaVinci Hotel. I was thoroughly looking forward to this stay as I have not stayed in this hotel before and it had been on my list, check in took quite long, which didn't bother me initially but ended up being a compounding factor after everything else, we had booked online and it took close to an hour for us to get checked in and given our room key, we used this time to look around. When we finally got to our room, we quickly left everything and went to the mall then had dinner, we got back relatively late and only upon getting back did we notice the bed was 2 single beds pushed together, however we booked and paid for a delux king room, needless to say I spent the duration of the evening falling through the 2 beds as I was trying to cuddle my lady, so I didn't get much sleep to say the least. When we got up in the morning I quite badly needed a coffee to wake me up after the night I had and Lo and behold, the coffee machine was not working! By this point you can imagine the frustration.. so we got dressed and went down for breakfast, the process of simply getting a coffee took close to 40 minutes, let alone the food arriving! We actually ended up getting up and leaving because we had plans for the day and did not expect to wait over an hour for our breakfast to arrive! The cold food that was available at the buffet was very dry as well but we scoffed it down and went on our way, it was only while we were walking out that the juice we ordered when we arrived was beginning to make its way to our table, so we were given the bottle and we went on our way We mentioned the incorrect room as well as the coffee machine to the lady at the checkout desk, to which I was reassured that next time we stay it will be nice I can very confidently confirm that there will not be a next time from us, as we do expect a certain service when checking into a 5 star hotel and paying the price that comes along with it On a positive note, the concierge was helpful with taking our luggage to the room Such a pity for a lovely perfectly located place to put such little effort into the quality they provide

Tutto è andato molto bene, e io consiglio molto questa Guesthouse con il suo accogliente, amichevole, caldo e sorridente personale, sempre disponibile per soddisfare qualsiasi necessità. Inizialmente avevo prenotato una stanza per solo 5 giorni, non ho avuto alcun problema di estendere questo soggiorno direttamente sul sito. Le camere sono pulite e ben progettate, come le aree collettive. È molto bel cortile interno. La colazione è generosamente preparata da Prisca, incredibilmente gentile e con cui è molto facile scambiare e condividere (mi manca il tuo sorriso :) ). La strada e il quartiere sono tranquilli e sicuri, siamo vicini (10 minuti a piedi) alle attività / bar / ristoranti il 7°. Non avrei potuto chiedere una migliore esperienza di Johannesburg. Camere pulite, tutte le strutture che avreste aspettato e facile da raggiungere al centro commerciale locale e alla Piazza Nelson Mandela sul bus gratuito. Avreste dato un 5 ma il processo di check-in era caotico. Il numero di posti vacanze è stato di circa 9 persone, che hanno fatto una prenotazione un anno fa e sembravano essere in grado di assegnare le nostre camere. Anche il doccia è una finestra per il resto della stanza, così i vostri coinquilini possono vedere che il doccia è stato interessante e ridicolo che questo è stato assegnato ai nostri due galline di età 20 e 17 anni. Non c'è sorriso o amicizia da parte del personale di ricezione che lo ordini e ci ha voluto molto tempo per controllare.

DDeborah-AnneI have stayed at the Quatermain before, and I am happy to say that the whole experience was once again just lovely! I had arrived VERY early on my check-in day and the staff made sure that I had a room well before the scheduled check-in time AND they upgraded me too! The staff at the hotel are friendly, helpful and all round just a delight!! Even with the ongoing challenges that loadshedding (scheduled power outtages) brings to the smooth operation of any business. The gardens are immaculate and tranquil, and it is unbelievable to think you are in the middle of everything with the peace and quiet that pervades. The little bistro / restaurant's menu is thankfully limited, as it means that the quality can be assured and anything that is made tastes deliciously homemade. The evening buffet is very good value for money! Just a small note that due to loadshedding, sometimes the email/booking system gives some issues - so don't forget to just follow up once booked :)
