Hotel in zona Mehrangarh Weapons Museum, Jodhpur

Credevo che ci fosse un prezzo per la camera da letto, ma era un massimo di 4 persone, quindi se ci fossero molti compagni, sarebbe una buona scelta. Se non fosse, penso che le camere singole e le camere doppie siano migliori scelte che le camere da letto. Un luogo tipico per visitare, un stile unico, una torre orologica, un melangar per, una collina pachetia e un ristorante a Kim Mohan, che è a 20 minuti a piedi? Ci sono molti alloggi economici intorno al castello, ma questo è anche un alloggio affascinante. (Non posso prendere un letto con solo la porta dell'ostello ㅠㅠ Due bundle di letti erano lunghi attaccate al muro e c'era un bagno. L'acqua calda usciva molto bene e il condizionatore d'aria era pieno. Mi sembra che potrebbe essere un po' stretto se quattro lo usassero)

This is the second time I have enjoyed staying at Jee Ri Haveli. Hi***shu and his family were lovely hosts. The Haveli is outside of the old town but the views of the fort from the rooms and rooftop restaurant are spectacular. You are within easy walking distance of everything including the excellent Sardar Market. The rooms are comfortable but not ***y luxuries but this doesn't matter as the beds are comfortable and hot water in the shower!! The food in the restaurant is excellent as well accompanied by the aforementioned view - see photo . They can arrange cars etc for arrival and departure if needed. Hi***shu took us on a wonderful walk through the old town - the blue city- and took us to visit the Jaswant Thada mausoleum and the superb Mehrangarh Fort. We really enjoyed this as he took us to places we never would have discovered on our own , we saw some wonderful murals and we ate the most delicious local sweets and found out the next day we made the local paper! Highly recommended and I would very happily stay here again.

Stayed here in the hot month of June, but did not find even an ounce of trouble. Narinder ji is very helpful, he helped us with our travel from airport to the haveli. The staff is very friendly and professional, especially Jatinder ji. He was there at every beck and call for any help whatsoever. The food was soo yummy! Loved the simple aloo jeera and dal so much! The hospitality is worth every penny , the rooftop is beautiful and spacious, even the interiors of every room are purely vintage-y! We stayed in the Maharani room and the interior was class apart! Highly recommend for anyone who loves quality stay, food and location!

Siamo giunti al Kothi Heritage accolti da un nugolo di giovani, che si contendevano i nostri bagagli per portarceli in camera. Superati il portone ed il cortile d’ingresso alla struttura, siamo entrati in un ambiente non molto attraente, con la reception ricavata in uno stanzino; espletate le formalità di registrazione, ci siamo incamminati verso la stanza, situata al primo piano. Nel raggiungerla, abbiamo percorso delle rampe di scale decisamente mal tenute. La nostra stanza (ci era stata prenotata una executive) ci è apparsa molto basica, con un letto comodo, cuscini piccoli e flaccidi (abbiamo dovuto chiederne altri due) con federe lise e macchiate; nessuna finestra in camera, a creare un ambiente a dir poco claustrofobico. Ho presentato le mie rimostranze alla reception (dopo aver passato in rassegna le foto presenti su TripAdvisor, che ritraevano stanze di tutt’altre sembianze), ma mi è stato detto che la nostra stanza era addirittura di un livello superiore alla executive prevista (?!?). Pareti e soffitto apparivano realizzati in pietra, maldestramente verniciati di bianco, con segni di spruzzi di vernice presenti sui mobili, evidentemente non ripuliti dopo la verniciatura. Stanza molto rumorosa e diversi componenti (vedi luci sui comodini) danneggiati; bagno ampio ma alquanto dozzinale, dotato di componenti di scarso pregio. Presentatoci al nostro arrivo come un antico palazzo del Maharaja, non ci è apparso assolutamente all’altezza della pompa magna con cui ci è stato descritto, mostrando viceversa ambizioni cui non corrispondono mezzi ed impegno nel realizzarle. Per contro, abbiamo gustato una buona cena vegetariana a base di thali al ristorante dell’hotel, con il manager del locale che si è preso gran cura di noi. Bella la sala da pranzo, con soffitti molto alti, tavoli comodi e ben allestiti, un arredamento suggestivo. Colazione del mattino a buffet, con specialità indiane e “angolo occidentale”, dal quale abbiamo attinto banane, toast, burro e marmellata, ed un ottimo caffè preparato dal manager in persona.

On reaching the resort, the reception was not aware of our arrival. Although issue was corrected in a minute. At the resort there was party/shooting going, which made the ambience quite noisy. The main problem was food. We did not had any choices. Whatever was made for the party celebration, we had to pick from that only. We first ordered pasta, they said ok and later it was unavailable. Then we ordered hora bhara kabab. 9 very small pieces of kababs were given. When we ordered no-ode the quantity was so small that it can only fill a child. The cost to quantity ratio was very bad. The resort has good ambience. One can stay here, but best not to order any food. The buffet breakfast was also with limited options. No
