Pratap Niwas - AN Amritara Resort

Located deep into the heart of jodhpur, the Grand Heritage pratap niwas offers to its guests the chance to indulge in an age of grandeur. From the moment you enter its doors, you are offered a welcome drink and you are led into an air of warmth and charm by the richly preserved architecture that indeed epitomizes the history of the hotel. Ambiance: The lobby was hosted by chandeliers and fine working on the wall and there was proper net facility, making it a small cozy place yet very luxurious. Antique furnishings with the original artwork characterize and make you nostalgic like you have gone back in time. It gave me a vibe as if it was some king's house. Rooms: Every room is beautifully done, with good antique comforts and classic design. The plush bedding and thoughtful amenities ensure that the guest spends a restful night in, while windows provide lovely views of the surrounding. Attention to detail was remarkable, with vintage accents adding some elegance to the experience. Dining: Enjoying the fresh products of the area while dining on menu items prepared in the traditional style features at the on-site restaurant. We had tried the authentic rajputana stile laal maas, it was wonderful. The chance to dine on a sumptuous breakfast buffet full of options isn't to be missed. they provide you with a plenty of options like north indian, south indian, western food etc. Service: The staff of pratap niwas are particularly warm, welcoming and friendly. From check-in to check-out they go out of their way to ensure everything is taken care of to make a guest really feel at home. Their local area knowledge and recommendations about potential places to go are absolutely priceless. Location: This hotel is located near the high court of rajasthan, in the outskirts of jodhpur, away from the crowd so that its a little more peaceful for the guests. they provide you with some activities like horse riding, gaming, the tour of the nearby village area on a horse buggy. Pratap niwas is a lot more than just a palatial place to stay. It allows one to live in heritage and experience the crux of the place. Whether you want to go for a romantic getaway, spend time with your family, or travel alone, this hotel provides a perfect blend of history, luxury, and comfort. A grand recommendation for anyone interested in seeing the area while experiencing the charm of a heritage hotel!

It's not a Heritage resort but a horrible resort. I have booked for three nights but it was so bad that I vacated after two nights and stayed at a nearby hotel. Everything about the resort is poor. The maintenance, location and the food everything is below par. Broken door handles, soiled towels, no wifi, no hand soap and no kettle to make coffee, bugs everywhere. I had to keep calling the reception for everything. The staff at reception and travel desk all are poorly trained. The travel desk guy is only there to scam the guests. The resort is far away from attractions and no taxi service like ola and uber are available. When I tried to vacate and move to another hotel (Indana Palace) which is just 10 min drive, I was charged exorbitant rates. I only booked this because I am a Clubmahindra member. Shocked to see how Clubmahindra even tied up with them. Worse resort I ever went to. A third rate resort. Felt cheated by Clubmahindra.

A luxurious palatial heritage hotel of Jodhpur .A royal stay to experience the ambience of entrance to our room..Clean, hygienic,rooms with a Maharaja Bed feel and room ambience...The Best is the food served with lip-smacking taste,BREAKFAST,LUNCH,DINNER prepared under the experienced international Chef Mr Narayanpuri with his signature dishes.Overall the the staff head Mr Sunil kumar,Mr Sunilsingh and his fleet gives u overwhelming welcome always...Do visit this Hotel to experience urself a Maharaja. Thanks to all for making us feel and live like the Royals.Really not a big price to pay for these amenities you enjoy.

See pics to know towel, bed with sharp nails, dirty pool and stinking wash room without exhaust fan. Billing incorrectly done, fake receipts added, later corrected. Only good part was food taste. In pmace at live music water coolers can be placed in peak summer.

My parents visited this location as they're Club Mahindra members for 30+ years and trusted the name of Club Mahindra. They were looking forward to a relaxing getaway and explore Jodhpur, but the relaxing gateaway became a horrendous nightmare! The food at this "resort" was so contaminated, that my mother struggled to make it back to home and was only 10-12 pills a day just to be able to travel home. The story didn't end there, she was diagnosed with a severe case of FOOD POISONING that she had to stay in the hospital for 2 nights due to FOOD POSONING which doctors CONFIRMED she got while she was at this resort. Not to mention the dirty rooms they were initially assigned when they first checked-in and had to fight with the front reception to get it changed. Is this what club mahindra members get after over 30+ years of loyalty to the brand? Is this what members get for trusting the club mahindra brand name? And how can any place that calls themselves a resort, club mahindra affiliated or not justify such low quality of hygiene in their food preparation? ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED by this experience!!!! Hope this review serves as a warning for travelers looking to visit this so called resort. In case any of you don't believe this, I've attached a copy of the medical report to this review.
