Innanzitutto, ci sono troppe zanzare velenose sia all'interno che all'esterno dell'hotel. In secondo luogo, la stanza non viene disinfettata e pulita. Terzo, il divano era troppo sporco e gli acari della polvere superavano i livelli standard. La nostra famiglia ha prenotato qui per 3 notti. La prima notte io e mio figlio siamo stati punti dalle zanzare nella stanza. Un'ora dopo, mio ​​figlio ha avuto una reazione allergica e ha avuto un'eruzione cutanea su tutto il corpo. Aveva orticaria ovunque, dal viso ai piedi. Il prurito era fortissimo e lui piangeva dal dolore. Ero ansioso come una formica su una padella calda. Ho comprato un po' di pomata e un farmaco contro le allergie e li ho applicati personalmente al bambino. La mattina dopo, il bambino era ancora coperto di eruzioni cutanee rosse, quindi il nostro itinerario giornaliero è stato annullato. Ho chiamato la reception e ho chiesto una stanza pulita, ma hanno aspettato a lungo prima di accettare di cambiarla. Solo quando mi sono trasferito nella nuova stanza ho capito che il divano poteva essere uno dei motivi. Il divano era infestato da acari della polvere e muffa, era troppo sporco e non veniva mai pulito, il che provocava allergie su tutto il corpo al bambino. Siamo rimasti lì per quattro giorni e tre notti e il bambino ha avuto l'eruzione cutanea per tre giorni. Ho soggiornato per due notti nei due giorni precedenti al Jinglan Mekong Hotel, che era più economico dell'InterContinental, e non è successo nulla. Ma quando sono andato a soggiornare all'InterContinental, che era il doppio più caro, mi sono imbattuto in questo genere di cose. Il problema è che l'hotel non ha affrontato il problema tempestivamente, non ha adottato alcun metodo di risposta e alla fine lo ha ignorato. È stato davvero terribile!

pretty good, amazing breakfast, and although the pool was under maintenance during our stay they made sure to make it up for it. The gym is fully equipped and the indoor pool is great too!

I love this eco-friendly hotel. The reason why located far from downtown, it has pros and cons. Swimming pool is a bit cold on Dec. Breakfast is nice, especially noodles, even if I am foreigner, I totally satisfied.

The check-in and check-out processes were painfully slow and disorganized. Only one available staff, people jumping the line, nobody putting these people in order. We had to start arguing with other guests to have them respect the line. Very unpleasant and unacceptable for a hotel of this category.

Very kids friendly, the basic service sense can be further improved especially at breakfast restaurant, a bit messy when too many clients. The rest are all good.

What a wonderful holiday in there.

Nice and very big hotel but mostly for Chinese tourist and families. Difficult to deal if you are a non chinese speaker as only a few employees speaks good english and very few signs and documents are in english. However we had a nice stay. Garden, rooms and food are quite good.

We booked two rooms in the hotel. One for my children and one for us as a couple. We loved both rooms. The location is suitable and distance friendly to most attractions and the staff members go beyond the normal service to make you feel at home. Adora from the front desk was extremely helpful and caring towards us. She sent us a list of children a activities in the hotel and helped us when feeling sick sending us a basket of fruit and some porridge. She even met us the day we left go give us a present from the hotel. The breakfast was delicious offering many options and the rooms very spacious and clean. Thank you Adora and Intercontinental hotel - xishuanbanna is beautiful and the hotel is the perfect combination to this trip.

An exotic feeling hotel, with some beautiful spaces to take pictures (which seems to be the main activity - sadly - for travellers in Xishuangbanna). I stayed here for 4 nights, check-in was fairly smooth, although a cheeky comment about whether the gym was part of my normal routine or not, was not hugely appreciated. A very large hotel, quite dated, but with spacious rooms. My room had a comfortable large bed, a huge bath (the plug didn't work - but they did fix this promptly) and a lovely balcony area. Unfortunately, there were so many palm trees outside of my room it blocked a lot of the natural light, so the room was always quite dark - 21st century problems 🤣 I loved how the aircon automatically turned off when the doors opened - helping the environment 😊 I did not have breakfast any day as I was up and out early, and with limited vegetarian options I ate only once in their Chinese restaurant - where the chef prepared a special meal for my dietary requirements. The bar area, well, wasn't a bar, but the lobby lounge was a wonderful space and their iced coffee was a real treat each day! The children's pool was closed for maintenance but the indoor pool was available. Location was good, I was able to travel to everywhere quite simply using DiDi (although they will not take people to the Botanical Gardens). A particular thank you to Lee, who offered excellent help in English when I was unable to get any transport. Overall, I would recommend this hotel as a good base for exploring Xishuangbanna 🌴 ☀️
