The Switchback House was built in the early 1900's and has recently been fully remodeled. Families find this to be the perfect home to share memories. Our home is in a quiet area of West Broadway, yet still within walking distance to the Historic District. The house even sits on an access point to the famous Switchback Trail - perfect for hiking and biking! Jim Thorpe also offers whitewater rafting or winter activities at Blue Mountain. A lovely, comfortable home
Stayed 2 nights as a getaway with my husband. Home was easy to get to, and very convenient to the shops and restaurants. The touches all around of the area city.The beds were very comfortable.I loved

3 C's Comfortable, Clean and Cozy
Our 2rd stay and can't say enough good things about the place. The owners are wonderful and attentive. The house is very inviting and relaxing.

Beautiful property
My friends and I booked this place last minute when our other house canceled on us 2 days before. We stayed here over new years and had a blast. Owner was very accommodating and communicated well. The place was super clean and in a great location within walking distance to the town. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Great spot to enjoy the town!
We spent a cold weekend in Jim Thorpe after Thanksgiving to relax, shop, and bike, and Jill's home was the perfect cozy spot for our family (3 adults, 2 kids). The main shopping and dining area of the town is a few blocks' walk down the hill. Bedrooms were comfortable and private, the kids (age 5 & 7) enjoyed the attic TV room, and the kitchen had all that we needed to cook meals. Private parking was a big plus and we even took the kids on a short hike on the Switchback Trail right outside of the back yard. This would be a great spot in all seasons. We'd love to come back again!

Enjoyable stay.
We were comfortable and enjoyed memorabilia all over the house. We were able to walk down to the festivities.

October Weekend in Jim Thorpe
Great property for 4 adults + 2 kids for a couple nights. Easy to walk to Jim Thorpe any time of day. Will be back!

Great Week
Great week, Hiking in your back yard, swimming and fishing up the road, a bike ride down the street. Enjoyed the town and the house was great! Well equipped with anything you would need. Very clean. Nice owners and neighbors.
