Shaxi Ancient Town Shuxia Inn

This lovingly well managed boutique hotel stole our hearts the moment we stepped into the compound. Firstly, hospitality is at its best! Owner 潘姐 and her team are so welcoming and hospitable. We were so well taken care of throughout our two nights stay. Hotel is located within minutes walk to Shaxi old town. Fresh fruits and flowers arrangement grace the halls & rooms daily, making it such a charming and cosy place for guests to enjoy. Rooms are superbly well appointed with modern amenities & well curated furnishings. Bed and pillows are so comfortable that we slept very well. Breakfast is wonderful and delicious and there’s always a plate of fresh fruits served to us in the afternoons. Throughout the hotel, we see beautiful collection of Yunnan decorative ornaments well put together by Sister Pan. She is someone who puts in heart and soul into managing this boutique hotel & caring for her guests. We enjoyed our delightful conversations and were gifted a guide book of Yunnan authored by her husband董增旭. Thank you so much for the hospitality! Highly recommend this boutique hotel!

The stay was amazing and we would highly recommend for couples and families who want to have a break from the city and enjoy some countryside life in Shaxi. Our friends recommended us to stay here, it was such a hidden gem! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had issues with arranging departure transportation and the owner lady helped us to solve it immediately. And they always welcomed us whenever we came back, it made us feel at home. The hotel was located at a quite location, about 5 min walk from the village. The hotel had a large front yard with some nice seating area, and there were many lovely wooden art pieces on the first floor for us to appreciate. Our room was clean and spacious with a a very big balcony, we had our best time chilling on the balcony during sunset, so beautiful. The amenities were luxurious and fresh yummy strawberries were provided to us everyday! Not to mention, the breakfast was healthy and yummy, it had western and local version alternating. We feel so lucky to stay here and it definitely exceeded our expectations!! Will come back again.

This little gem is 5 min walk away from the old city, along the river. You can reach the famous bridge following the river, a nice stroll away from the crowd. The rooms are truly beautiful and the overall atmosphere is peaceful, even with kids around. It’s well decorated and very high quality furniture and bedding. We arrived earlier than the check-in time but they welcomed us with tea, fruits and snacks. They provide also a « shuttle » to go to the old town and pick you up anywhere in the old town maximum 20min after sending a message. The Chinese breakfast was different everyday and delicious. One day we left early and they gave us some part of the breakfast to go. We wanted to ride bicycles and they sent us a contact and location to get them. Same for a driver to go to the mountain. They are all the kindest people. We really recommend this place.

Lovely hotel in great location just 10 walking minutes away from old town Shaxi. Nice big rooms, tasty and big chinese breakfast, helpful staff at all times. The owner arranged golf carts to take us downtown when we were too tired to walk. Big balcony towards a pretty courtyard. Highly recommended. Nice welcome snack and fast & easy check in.

朋友推薦的沙溪民宿，讓我來沙溪的時候一定來樹下住，果然沒介紹錯，是這趟雲南之行最滿意的一所民宿，無論是環境設施還是服務都是最滿意的，房間設施按照超五星酒店水平佈置，做到舒適又温馨，每天早起在陽台發呆喝茶。看得出主理人花了不少心思佈置民宿，木雕 黑瓷 都格外精緻和諧。服務也是非常出挑，古鎮及周邊來回包車接送，民宿主理人還請吃特別好吃的菌子火鍋，管家一個隨叫隨到 提供情緒價值 感受到沙溪人的古樸和人情味，還有每天變着花樣的早餐和水果盤。如果再來沙溪還會選擇入住樹下，也推薦來沙溪旅遊的小夥伴們選擇樹下～

咱也是住到神仙民宿了！！民宿的院子非常雲南又有設計感，據説是國外的設計師～處處都很舒服，房間是迎着日出的方向，面對着村子裏五百多年歷史的神樹，早上看日出非常有氛圍感～房間風格和之前住過的三亞半山半島有異曲同工之妙，非常有度假感而且細節、設施和用品不輸高星酒店，衞生間還備了洗臉巾和濕巾，超級貼心！！ 入住前兩天老闆娘就加了微信，説她不在沙溪，沒辦法親自招待我們，已安排管家小段好好招待，我們入住時小段直接説老闆娘交代了務必請我們吃個午飯，最後選在了柿意餐廳吃了一個菌菇火鍋～真的巨巨巨有誠意！！！ 住了兩天，各種水果零食&每日到貨巨新鮮香甜草莓🍓無限量供應，草莓還是洗好並且去掉了屁屁的！我説晚上要早點回來加班還提前給備好了巨巨巨大的果盤，真的感動！！！[愛心]啥檔次的酒店都住過了，沒見過這麼豪橫的接待，賓至如歸都不夠形容的，希望樹下越來越好，就這麼安安靜靜好好的待在那，我可以每年都來休憩一下[害羞][害羞][害羞]
