Ruebel Hotel

We absolutely loved our stay at the Ruebel and plan on making another visit. The beds were the most comfortable I've slept on in a hotel in a long time. The staff was incredibly helpful, kind and accommodating. Beautiful building with the perfect balance of spooky and cozy. A must stay for anyone who appreciates an old timey good time. 👍

The Ruebel is a wonderful historic hotel. A stay in the past with a touch of modern conveniences. Clean, cute, and perfectly wonderful. The staff is wonderful and with it's attached restaurant with wonderful food, it it and ideal place to stay!

First time there. Great location. Vintage/ unique. No ******* experience for us. Young guy working was extremely friendly. Obviously had taken over the family business. He had lots of info.. including the parking info on the front street. Frequent police patrol. (The bar was open later..but no air on. Bartender was friendly and let us sit outside. Place looked great I think its leased out or a different owner.)We had the hotel room at the top of the stairs. Not sure they have a working elevator,but have a wheelchair ramp out front and downstairs rooms. Window units and ceiling fans were going. It was fine considering the super hot day, but i prefer it cooler. Room was super clean including the shower. Linens are very white and fresh..appears they use a laundry service..which is a plus. We read the info on the water situation..but didnt use the shower as we had to leave very early. Could smell the brunch cooking. Office is unmanned at night but there is a number to call. You can just leave your key in the basket on your check out. Ice machine in the hall. Modern flat screen tv and a fridge in the Presidents room. For a one night stay. I give it 4-5 stars.

Great old time atmosphere. Great service. Beds and Pillows are very comfortable. Convenient to music venues , shops, restaurants, Aerie's Sky Lift and Various bars. Our first time staying at The Ruebel, and will not be our last. Bon Voyage

The Ruebel Hotel is one of the oldest and quaint buildings I have ever stayed at. Located on the main drag of Grafton, Illinois this was a weekend where eagles and I got to make each others acquaintance. Get up early and try to find where the visiting raptors might be nesting for the night as they prepare to go fishing.

Always a hauntingly good time!! Breakfast was great. They worked very hard feeding our big group. Beds are comfortable. Silas accommodates our big group so nicely. We always enjoy our haunting tours trying to talk to Abigail. She was fairly active the weekend we were there.
